My wife and I recently stayed at the Beverly Wilshire for two nights during a long weekend trip to the LA area, and we really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is an iconic spot in Beverly Hills, with a long and storied history and a perfect location for seeing the area. We received a great upgrade to a suite, which made our stay even more special and comfortable, and our interactions with staff were great. There was a small billing hiccup after our stay that left a slightly negative taste, but it got resolved, so I would absolutely return to and recommend this hotel. Trip Planning: As we always do when booking a Four Seasons, we reserved through a Preferred Partner travel agent, which enabled us to get free perks (I highly recommend doing this). For no extra cost, our reservation included priority early check-in, a room upgrade based on availability, a one-time $100 hotel credit, and a breakfast credit each morning of $90, which could be used in the restaurant or for room service. The travel agent we worked with was even able to confirm a double room upgrade in advance of our arrival, which was a pleasant surprise, especially since upgrades are often not confirmed until check-in. I also appreciated that her contact at the hotel really seemed to want to make sure we got the best room possible for our needs. We had booked a Signature Balcony Room, so a double upgrade was to a Rodeo View Studio Suite. The hotel explained that the upgrade would take away our balcony, but we could keep the balcony and have more of a panoramic view of the Hollywood Hills (which they thought we might prefer), if we did a single upgrade to a BW Studio Suite instead. We agreed to that, and they assured us they would block us into one of their best rooms in that category. We ultimately got upgraded even further, but the room we had was spot-on for what was promised location and view-wise. Arrival: It can be slightly confusing to find the entrance when arriving for the first time. A lot of GPS apps will lead you to the recognizable hotel entrance on Wilshire Boulevard, which isn’t actually the main entrance for hotel guests when parking a car. There is a valet at the Wilshire entrance, and it’s a good spot to be dropped off in an Uber, but the main entrance for hotel parking is in a larger porte cochere between the two towers of the hotel, accessed off of a side street (El Camino Drive). Upon arrival at the correct spot, I was immediately greeted by Florian on the valet team, who was there during much of our stay and provided good service throughout. He welcomed me to the hotel and assisted with my luggage, assuring me that the luggage would be brought up to our room immediately if the room was ready, or as soon as possible later in the day when a room became available. I went to the front desk to check-in, and was assisted by a very friendly and professional front desk clerk. She provided a warm welcome and gave me the good news that our room was ready (before noon), and that it had been upgraded further to a one-bedroom suite, all of which was great to hear. She also provided an overview of the extra credits that were included in our room rate and how to use them. It was a great check-in experience, with the only thing missing being that there wasn’t any sort of welcome beverage offered, which is typically at least water, if not champagne, at Four Seasons hotels. After check-in, the hotel also did a great job of coordinating things to get me settled into my room. I found my way to my room and a very friendly bellman was at my room within 2 minutes after to deliver my luggage and assist with getting settled. I also appreciated that within 10 minutes after that, I received a phone call from the hotel’s Guest Experience Manager, welcoming me to the hotel and apologizing for not having been present at check-in to welcome me. It was nice to have the extra welcome and to know that there was someone I could reach out to if we had any problems. Room: In order to pick a room type at this hotel, it’s helpful to understand how it’s laid out, which isn’t intuiti

[email protected] You; Koehler Lorelyn I strongly suggest you get your act together. First, we did not stay overnight. We checked out at 9:30 PM on November 11, 2023. Of course, your inefficient system did not time stamp our departure time. We checked in around 4:20 PM on November 11, 2023 and we car pooled with friends to the event. After the event our friends took us to LAX where we caught an overnight flight to Chicago. My 103, year old mother-in-law who normally is in excellent health and lives in Elmhurst Illinois fell on Wednesday November 8, 2023 damaging a disc in her lower back. I called Suzette at the Four Seasons on Wednesday November 8, 2023 and requested a refund for the evening of November 11, 2023. She said she would check company policy and I replied I will check with the surgeon tomorrow morning for an exact date and time of surgery. On Thursday November 9, 2023 I talked to the doctor who informed me surgery on her back is scheduled for 11:AM on Sunday then I informed Suzette we would not be staying overnight. During the same conversation Suzette informed me company policy is no refund. She asked if I would like to cancel the reservation. My reply was “cancel the reservation so you can resell the room and make a 100% profit. And Four Seasons is reputed to be a top-rated hotel? Really?? In summary Four seasons empathy factor is zero. Suggest I cancel the reservation so Four Seasons can resell the room. You have to be kidding! Bill me for parking when I did not drive a car to the hotel. I have no intension of paying the parking charge. This charge never came up during either conversation with Suzette. When Dennis Prager asks for feedback on the event, I will suggest he move this event elsewhere. The food this year was substandard compared to last year. One example, the salad was a joke.

The BLVD Bar is chic, cool and sophisticated. A real gem in Beverly Hills. The service was amazing and the front of house team superb as gave us a front row outside table, which drew envious glances. The menu caters for all dietary requirements and the vegan selections plenty. The wine list is extensive as are the by the glass choices. The prices were remarkably consummate with the location and we enjoyed a deliciously chilled Whispering Angel Rosé for $96. This place attracts celebrities and A-list clientele and a brilliant place to have selfie’s. Loved every moment and thank you.

The quality and service of the hotel do not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel, let alone a Four Seasons. Points of criticism were the price-performance ratio, the lack of knowledge of the waiters and the quality of the food in the BLVD restaurant, the furnishings and functionality in the room (only one sink in the bathroom, light that went on and off by itself) and the cleanliness in the room (the bathroom was only cleaned very superficially). The pool is not up to the standard and size of the house. You get the impression that they think most guests only come once anyway, and a legendary reputation is enough for that. In any case, we will stay elsewhere on our next visit.

Iconic hotel, but stay was not memorable. Why? Hard to say. The hotel is obviously famous from its role in Pretty Woman. Location is terrific. Heart of BH but close to so much of what LA has to offer. I stayed in the newer tower which I appreciated. My room was modern and well designed. I had a chance to eat at the poolside restaurant and sit by the pool which I thought was a little on the small side actually. Service was efficient and friendly but lacked a little of the personal touch. I guess the reason for my small qualification about my stay is the fact that I have stayed at numerous Four Seasons around the world, and this one seemed to lack the usual “Wow” factor. Despite this I ran into Derek Jeter in the elevator and someone who is in the know tells me it’s the only hotel Mick Jagger stays in while in LA. So you will enjoy your stay, even if it’s not your best ever.

I never stayed at this hotel however I did come for cocktails and had a meal there. The cocktails were amazing every time however the dinner was excruciatingly awful. I ordered for the chicken. When it arrived it looked not very appealing on the plate also the taste was as bad as it looked. Very disappointed as I came all the way from the United Kingdom and my first priority was to experience having a meal. The chicken was sooo dry that I needed to order another cocktail for it to go down The skin was so tough and tasted like rubber. My best friend ordered the same and her experience was just as bad. The hotel is how you expect it to be lush and decadent. Unfortunately, the meal was as interesting as wAyching paint dry! I would only ever come back for drinks unless they sack the chef and replace with one that doesn’t cook the meat like the Sahara desert.

Very fortunate to have returned to BW. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Loved the fact that the venue recognised our reason for travelling and upgraded our accommodation. Enjoyed food and beverages at Boulevard, Cut Lounge and Cut. Room very comfortable with great city view. Thank you.

We booked last-minute after having to relocate from the coast due to the tropical storm and could not have been happier with our stay. Wonderful and accommodating staff, very well maintained facility. Made us feel right at home from the beginning and extremely responsive throughout our stay. Definitely look forward to returning again!

From the time you arrive in the valet section, you are greeted warmly and each time thereafter. The staff offered great service for check-in, walking me back to valet after giving directions to the room. The room was immaculate and the beds were extremely comfortable -- best sleep in awhile. The food was great - breakfast setup, the private VIP rooftop lunch was great with amazing views of the flower backdrop wall and area overlooking Rodeo Drive. Concierge was timely, quickly shining my shoes the evening prior to my business meetings. The ambience is fabulous, from the main entrance decor, to the displays, and the bar area. I had a great time and look forward to staying again.

This hotel is the best of the best. The rooms are generous in size, and the beds are ridiculously comfortable. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. Everyone is very friendly and aims to please. Everyone greets you and many staff remember your name and preferences, so service is impeccable. Also the spa is amazing.

We have stayed at four seasons all over the world and have never experienced anything like this. Check in started off poorly with long lines and rude front desk staff—credit card machines did not work, no warmth or personalization, rudely told that our rooms were not ready. Maybe just a bad start, hotel busy with Oscar week, nope! We booked adjoining rooms for our family and were told that only one room was ready. An hour later I receive a jarring rude phone call saying the adjoining room we booked is still occupied and the guests are refusing to leave but they might move to another room but not until 7 pm? I said are you serious and the woman who called me said she was doing me a favor and why was I being so rude. Unbelievable. It’s now 6 pm. I go back to the front desk—still no help, they say hotel sold out I just have to wait for these guests to leave room. Unbelievable. I said well could you at least comp a drink or dinner in the bar while I wait? They did manage that and had lovely service in the bar. Now it is almost 7 pm and still no room! I go back to the front desk, literally in desperation like where is my family going to sleep? Are you charging me for a room I can’t even access before 10 pm? Finally we say do you have a non-adjoining room available and they say oh sure, but you never asked for that! For the love of God I’m at my wits end at this point. No one offered that, they just kept saying the hotel was fully booked. So now my family is staying ten floors apart, my “balcony” room is on 2nd floor with all the sounds of the pool and no view. Walls are paper thin. Smelly food left in hallways. Just shocking to be made to feel completely unwelcomed at a Four Seasons especially at these rates. Not a 5-star experience on any level.

There was so many choices in BV, and I'm glad that we picked this hotel. We stayed for one night that exceeded our expectations. We arrived early and the service we received was outstanding. The room (1 bedroom suite) was clean and spacious and available early. The location can't be beat for walks along Rodeo Drive. The hotel is beautiful and fun to be in. The bar/restaurant was a very good experience too. My only regret is not catching that the gratuity was already in the bills before we doubled it and signed.

The hotel room had leftover food and unhinged closet doors. The soap and shampoo dispensers were all large bottles that looked like they had been acquired at Costco and not changed with each guest. I would avoid.

The definition of 5 stars - perfect hotel location for shopping, all staff go above and beyond, food choices are phenomenal and I’d recommend anyone spend a night here. We stayed in a Rodeo One Bedroom Suite for four nights - tons of space, great if you like doing in room dining and had beautiful bathroom. It was close to 900sqf (especially large for BH) and offered large couches, extra closet space and stocked amenities. All staff were great, especially valet and housekeeping. The little things like being acknowledged by your name despite it being a larger hotel makes you and your guests truly feel special. The spa left mixed opinions - my massage was good, my wife’s was not so much, which steered us away the rest of the trip from going again (unfortunate as it was rainy and we would have liked to book a few more massages). I am curious to see if the Spa reaches out, but in our experiences, a Theragun isn’t required for a Swedish massage and the amount of explanation as to why my wife should use it in the massage along with the history and science lesson wasn’t relaxing nor enjoyable for her. Room service was prompt, even during peak hours and dining at BLVD for breakfast and a few lunches/brunches surpassed our expectations.
