Since moving from NYC to CA, first to Bay Area and now LA, Upper Crust is the closest to NY pizza I've had. Thin, firm crust, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, veggie by the slices as well as whole pies. That's it! No pineapple, feta, arugula, to be found, period. NY style all the way, bada bing. Slices are oversized and baked to perfection. Come and taste for yourself, furgitaboutit.

Love this place!!! Sit outside with a crispy, thin, super tasty crust. Yummy sauces and variety. Can't stop eating it. Surprised at other reviews- have never had a service issue. Great slices lunch special.

Just wanted to inform how unfair it is that me and coworkers ordered a half vegetarian (vegan cheese) and the other half was meant to be a regular pepperoni. However we got a wrong order where the half had all the vegetarian ingredients including the pepperoni and the other half is just plain cheese. Not only that, the entire order was full vegan cheese when it was meant to be half. We had to end up picking the pepperoni out (vegetarian eaters), while others tried to eat the vegan cheese only one but couldn't eat anymore because didn't like vegan cheese. Was not able to get a full refund because it was my "first time" ordering which is bizarre, unheard of. Only able to get credit.

DO not order from here unless you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on cold pizza. Ordered two small pizza's online. Pizza's arrived over one hour and thirty minutes later, which website delivery time was 45 mins. Both pizza's were cold with no one ounce of warmth. Both pizza's arrived with no seal of protection/sticker on box to maintain integrity of food with delivery driver. I called the store and expressed my frustration. Spoke with Jose who told me the store "never uses seals on the boxes. They just ran out." Hmm, so which is it? Never use the seal? or ran out??? Jose then proceeded to tell me I "take a chance whenever I order from any 3rd party delivery" and "it's not their job to make sure a seal is used." He offered no remedy or solution or discount for future purchases (which I wouldn't anyways) but stated he would tell the manager. Will NEVER order from here again.

Did not deliver 4 pizzas on time - 1 hour late and blamed it on the delivery person who was out delivering other pizzas - if you make a commitment you should adhere to that or at less contact the customer with an explanation. We called 4 times and then they disconnected the phone.

This place went DOWN HILL. I have been a regular here and I'm so disappointed. I just ordered a pizza for Valentine's Day and it was awful. The cheese was all on the bottom of the pizza, was super dry, had no flavor. Totally not the same as it used to be. They should seriously consider changing their staff.

This used to be one of my favorite pizza spots in town (see my review from years ago) but things have sadly changed. No idea why, but the delightful thin crust has been radically altered and isn't nearly as good. I also got my usual BBQ Chicken pizza, and received a pizza with no bbq sauce on it! Literally an entire pizza with just chunks of chicken and cheese with no sauce. Bonkers. So sad to lose a place I used to order from often.

I am giving the place a 3 because pizza is actually very good, and the service used to be outstanding. But my recent experience with some underage dude running the register was ridiculous. I have been coming to this place regularly since 2016 as I live two blocks away. So as usual I asked for a large pizza and banana peppers on the side as I did monthly for years. The kid tells me they don't sell it as a side, so I asked if I can still have it, and the answer was resounding no. When I asked why was it not a problem all these years but today it became so his reply was "I have been working here for 6 years never seen you before, so don't know what you are talking about". Mind this he is a teenager or may be in his early 20s I am pushing 50s, haven't been talked to that way in decades. So needless to say, I cancelled the transaction and walked out to never return, after being a loyal customer for almost 7 years

I have been going to this pizzeria almost every week to get pizza. Despite undercooking my order twice in the past, it didn't stop me from going back again because I genuinely enjoyed their pizza. But everything changed on 1/10/24, the evening I tried ordering pizza. I was trying to use my reward points to get a discount, but the cashier didn't know how to use the points and got very irritable towards me. She began taking other customers before me and had me wait at the register. Eventually, after having placed my order (without using my reward points), I ended up waiting about an hour total for my pizza to come out. The chef had forgotten to make my pizza 30 mins into placing my order. Instead of apologizing, the chef told me to be patient and that he had a lot of orders placed. Another customer who had been watching the situation said the cashier and the chef were laughing after I had asked about my pizza 30 minutes in, realizing he (the chef) had forgotten about my order. Once I finally received my pizza, I saw that it was burnt all around the edges and burnt on the bottom of the pizza. When I complained, the chef started getting angry and raised his voice at me, saying it wasn't burnt. Without offering to remake my pizza, the chef told my mom and I not to come back again and tossed the pizza out. Due to this experience and their terrible behavior/customer service, I will not be returning to this place again. I've been to this place a few times and enjoyed the food and ambiance. My attitude has completely changed after a recent incident. A friend stopped by to pick up a pizza and was encountered with terrible service relating not only to operations, but also morals. He first tried to use his reward points to apply a discount, a completely valid request. The cashier, who was apparently new, did not know how to apply the points and gave him a bad attitude for trying to making her job difficult. How is this my friend's fault? Train your staff properly so you don't encounter these issues. Next, he noticed an unusually long wait for his pizza when it was not busy. A customer who was there around the same time got their pizza within a reasonable time. When he asked about it, he saw the cooks and staff in the back laughing at him. When he finally got his pizza later, it was burnt and inedible. When he confronted them, they offered a refund which he didn't receive punctually. He called management as well who confirmed the refund and a gift card, but still nothing after three days. Complete BS if you ask me. I rarely leave reviews, but this situation lit a fire under me and I had to speak up. The fact that they have good food will never excuse the actions that took place that day. I come to Upper Crust Beverly Hills on a weekly basis~ and let me tell you it is the best pizza in Beverly Hills!!!! I just wanted to give a shout out to Luca who has been making my pizzas every week. I just wanted to say how fantastic of a job he's been doing making my pizzas. I've never had a crust so thin and a pizza so perfect ~he is definitely a keeper! Also, Noel, every once in a while, he makes my pizza he's fantastic as well! And I recently met Diego. He's very good at the front~ friendly & is very fast and efficient with taking orders ! Thank you everyone at Upper Crust for making every experience enjoyable!

Deeply Disappointed! Had an order for pick up. Went to pick it up, it was not ready. They told me come back in an hour. Went back again and they said that they are closing. While being there they called Uber Eats to cancel my order. I trusted them again and came back home. Never got my money back. Staff are not properly trained. They are offering me store credit but NOT to the full amount. It is a shame for just around 30$ they made me to call Uber and their restaurant several times. Huge disrespect
