Our favorite Beverly Hills restaurant. The restaurant is a bit less noisy than others. The staff are the best on Canon. Always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and varied from week to week. The lamb shank we tried last night was to die for. The meat fell off the bone and so tender it would break apart in your mouth without biting into it.

We were there on a quiet, rainy Sunday evening. The lamb shank was excellent - as always. The ahi tuna and octopus were very good. The bartender made good Manhattans. We realize that restaurants' costs have gone up but we think some things were priced too high. Examples: octopus appetizer; ossobuco special. Since there is a modest charge for bread maybe it should have been mentioned. We would have paid for it anyway. On OpenTable's reservation, we noted that it was an anniversary dinner. No anniversary greeting or special dessert were offered. We really like the restaurant and the menu and the friendly service so we will be back.

ambience and service was pretty good. My fiancé and I ordered the Napolitano pizza, salmon carpaccio, and the rigatoni with prosciutto. To start off the service was better than expected, but was really weird when our host came up to us in the middle of our dinner, and asked us to leave a good review specifically on yelp . This would be my last time coming there as the pizza was a thin crust pizza as expected, but it was not a good value it was greasy, was very thin and it almost felt like they served us a big cracker with melted cheese on it . The salmon carpaccio was not good at all. It was smoked salmon with olive oil and cabbage. I don't know if it was supposed to be like this, but midway through the dish, my mouth had a tingling sensation in it, the only thing I could taste was olive oil. The thing that really sent this off was when they asked us if we wanted to split the dish because we were sharing everything, and then, when the bill came out, they charged us for splitting the dish, each service of bread and water. Presentation was great. Service was OK but the food I would not do again.
