we had sandwiches and a soup for lunch .The bread was soft, and the salat was a few leaves near the bread. Not much inside the bread. The soup was good. Nice place to sit!

Service was incredibly slow - 3 of the 6 people at lunch got their food while the other 3 waited an additional 15 minutes to receive theirs. We were told there was a problem in the kitchen, and the manager came over to say he was taking certain things off our bill. Then when the bill came, the items had not been removed and were only removed when the manager came back to the table to inquire whether everything was ok. Having been to Wally's a number of times and generally been happy with the food and service, this experience was really disappointing.

First time here & it’s an amazing wine bar with excellent ambience. From someone who lives in downtown, the vibe is definitely there. Completely caught off guard and Frank Thomas is security so it’s legit.I stayed at the bar and Omar the bartender is a legend! I had their pepperoni pizza and it was excellent. A diet breaker of a pizza and the fires were excellently cooked.The vibe is definitely there, great people, excellent environment, and I can’t wait to do a full on dinner here in the future.***update***I recently ordered their truffle fries, truffle pizza, a custom charcuterie board & an octopus entree.The truffle fries were cooked perfectly & seasoned just right with the right amount of truffle pieces. The truffle pizza was a solid dinner item, the crust was on point and the flavors were just right.The charcuterie board was a good appetizer option & we choose two meats and one cheese. Solid starter for the night. The octopus was cooked perfectly and probably the most tender piece of octupus I’ve ever tasted. The sauce was alright, but overall I thought it was a solid menu item & still recommend it.

Stopped in here Saturday night after dinner to have a glass of wine of wine with a girlfriend. They have a great wine selection and it's a pretty good scene with interesting people. Few drawbacks last night: 1. There was a literal line at the door for the bar, which I've never encountered before. Waited about 15 minutes. 2. Although I didn't encounter any rudeness from the staff, I did notice one guy working the bar (white nail polish guy) be extremely rude to a few guests for no reason. I understand that it was busy and towards the end of the night, but there was no excuse for the way he treated people.

3/1/2024We just had a bottle of wine and it was good. The place is very trendy and as it goes in LA and expensive. Much of the seating is communal so we got to talk with some new folks and had a great time. Will need to go back and try food some time.

Wally's has been on my list for a long time. They have a great variety of dishes on their menu. Service is spectacular and the ambience is so fun! I love the walls of wine - making perfect background for photos. I highly recommend ordering the truffle pizza and the Wally hero. There is a parking structure nearby that validates parking and is free for the first two hours. I can't wait to return and try more dishes!

Today my hisband and I went to Wallys which is one of the best for homemade pasta with truffle; delicious salads and pizza. This is a relaxing fun place where you can enjoy a delicious menu

Was sitting with an A list director and A list producer…. We were asked to give up our table and move to the bar. Silly staff doesn’t recognize clearly important people . We went next door to Tatel instead…. Food and service was very poor at Wally’s. Go to Tatel instead.

Great cocktails and food! Service is impeccable and there is a fun and lively ambiance. I got the charcoal mezcal cocktail and it was so good. The truly honey baguette is to die for! A must have! The burger and fries were also amazing!
