I am Chinese, and this xi'an restaurant does not offer authentic Xi'an food. Instead, it offers Huaiyang cuisine and a little Sichuan cuisine. I asked the waiter, why don't you offer Xi'an specialty dishes? The waiter's answer was: It's just that this restaurant is called Xi'an Restaurant. So, if you want to eat Chinese food, you can go there. If you want to eat authentic Xi'an specialty dishes, they are not here.
Everything good, nothing amazing. Good service, reasonable prices for Beverly Hills.
Everything about this restaurant is fantastic

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in the entire world.
Tao is the best and I recommend;
Singapore Vermicelli with pork and side of Hoisin sauce, egg drop soup, spring rolls, Peking duck ?, the orange chicken, honestly everything there is amazing.

We went there with a large group and the food was very good. This is American-Chinese food. Not authentic, but good. Drinks are also relatively good and the few we tasted were yummy. Service was a bit slow, utensils were not as clean as we would have liked l. We had to keep asking for knives, chopsticks,…..
There is no valet parking and the street parking can be difficult. Fortunately there is a city parking structure on cannon that is a very short walk to the restaurant. We found the prices to be a bit high. Will go there for a special occasions only.
Vegetarian options: Vegetarians would be happy here assuming the sauces they use are also vegetarian
Dietary restrictions: No dietary restriction information posted
Parking: Affordable Paid parking is just up the street
Kid-friendliness: I would only bring well behaved children here
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair friendly facility

Recently they made the dishes, smaller than ever I’m dining in this restaurant over 12 years
Also, they increased the price, but the food taste is excellent
They made the size of dishes smaller and increased the price.
I ordered kung pao beef which was my favorite for several years. The portion was almost half.
If you are Chinese... don't eat it. This is Chinese food purely for foreigners, but foreigners must think it's good... The name is Xi'an and the food is Cantonese and Sichuan food... It has nothing to do with Xi'an...

I’m sorry! Hate to leave a 3 star on a small business, but the food is not great, especially for the price. Based on other reviews, staff seems very professional and kind. However, the food is flavorless. I got the pad Thai and it was just noodles with egg- no “pad Thai” flavor at all…. The duck was alright , but came with a soggy tortilla and a small portion of meat.

Tony, our server was very professional and friendly. Potstickers
and Spring rolls to start.
We were there when they first opened 27 years ago so it was good to be back after moving out of the area in 2001.
Loved it!

The owner is an absolutely delightful human being. She reminds me of what restaurants ‘used to be’. Incredibly friendly and personable, her staff were great and the food just as good as the dining experience.Wait time for a table and food were very reasonable. Food tasted delicious, everyone (including kids) enjoyed. We ordered more as we were eating!Just wish we lived closer so we’d be able to dine here more regularly.

My husband and I live in the area, and the food is delicious and authentic. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. Fancy cocktails, too. We're there at least twice a month. You'll be happy you gave Xi'an a try.
