Very fresh food at an affordable price. Nice interior ambiance, nothing over the top but very welcoming. Service was good, they checked up on us just enough. For two people it was about 50 with tip but we did not order drinks. Two rolls two hand rolls and soft drinks. Recommend for sure.

I love everything about this place! Delicious sushi, quick service, and super easy to get a table. The lunch specials are a great deal. I always get the sushi lunch special which never disappoints. It comes with salad and miso soup. This is the go-to lunch spot for me and my coworkers. They also have a great happy hour which I also highly recommend!

In town for a conference, some coworkers and I decided to take an excursion for some shopping on Rodeo Drive. It being the end of our day we were pretty hungry, saw this place and decided to grab some sushi. I must say, wow! So good! We started with edamame, and my coworker had the miso soup. She said the best way to judge a Japanese restaurant is by its miso soup, and that theirs did not disappoint. Plenty of chunks of tofu, and the seaweed looked fresh. The edamame was nice and crunchy, with just the right amount of salt. For dinner I ordered the eel and avocado roll, along with the crunchy roll. Both were delicious, the eel roll was one of the best I've ever had. The crunchy roll was also good, but not something I would rave about. My other coworker ordered the smoked Scottish salmon sashimi. I normally don't like smoky-flavored things, but I tried a piece and it was heavenly! One of the people in our party ordered the teriyaki salmon, it came with a small bowl of white rice and some steamed veggies. I tried a piece of the salmon and it was moist and flaky, cooked just right. We finished by sharing a bowl of the green tea ice cream, I didn't really like the flavor of the ice cream, but it came with blackberries, raspberries, and orange slices, which were tasty. My only complaint would be the portion sizes. The rolls were pretty small. The eel roll was 6 pieces, and the crunchy roll was 8. But the slices were pretty small. I'm from the east coast and I'm accustomed to my sushi rolls being pretty giant. The food was good and I would absolutely recommend it, but you might want to plan for an after-dinner snack. I got back to our hotel room and had to break into a bag of potato chips because I was still hungry.
