AMAZING!!!!! Flavor is amazing and the customer service is top notch! The young lady taking orders is awesome, the folks busting their hump in the back putting orders together, and I can’t forget the smoke master making the most delicious BBQ I have ever had!!! The tri-tip was perfect, pulled pork was deliciously moist and flavorful, and the pork ribs, they stole the show!! I can’t wait to come back!

I stopped there on my way to Yreka. The bbq was fantastic! I met diners from different parts of the world. They enjoyed the food as much as I did. The copper bbq smokers are cool.

I’ve heard that Copper Top Bbq is one of the best in California, it’s top 5 for me. Getting there is more than half the battle, Big Pine Ca isn’t on most people’s to do list, however for those of us who travel the 395 frequently it’s a great place to stop and relax with a great meal. I’ve sampled the pulled pork, ribs and chicken, it’s the Tri tip that really does it for me. As far as side dishes, the green 🌶️ chili is on top of my choices. The parking is sufficient, and the outside seating is always clean and available. The staff are friendly and always willing to give you a suggestion.

The food tasted good, but it was very chewy. I had a hard time cutting the meat with the plastic fork and knife. It was very expensive and the portions were not very big. A drink was 4 and a try tip sandwich was 16 dollars. If you are fine paying that much than I would recommend.

I always pass this place on my way to Mammoth and finally decided to stop....loved it! Got 1 lb of tri tip, Mac n cheese and potato salad. Excellent flavor, perfectly cooked and different choices of barbecue sauce that you can help yourself with. Service was quick and easy. Order outside on the patio and pick up your food inside. Only took about 5 minutes to get my food.
I was talking to one of the employees and found out that they have a vending machine with meat in it in case you pass by when they're closed and want to take some home... Never seen that before and everything is vacuum sealed and refrigerated in the vending machine. Awesome idea

Stayed at the Starlight hotel down the road real close to the Copper Top BBQ. Wow was so impressed with the hotel and the great food at the Copper Top. Was,different on how to order and receive your food, but it turn out to be ok! Really great food and enjoy the surroundings! We will be returning to this awesome town with a bigger group to enjoy the welcoming folks especially at the Copper Top BBQ.

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Ribs were flavorful. The tri tip was perfectly cooked with a kiss of smoke. And with a view like this it's criminal not to sit outside.
The most expensive and underwhelming barbecue I can think of. Very small portions that are neither filling nor flavorful.

The best bbq I've had in a very long time. The service was very quick, the Tri Tip so tender and tasty, the burger so satisfying, and the Mac and Cheese is the best I've ever had. Don't let the long line discourage you, it moves fast. We don't need to decide where to eat while traveling HWY 395, Copper Top will be our destination
