I stop by this place any time I’m in the area, it’s conveniently located on the road to Mammoth and many other places in the eastern sierras. Definitely be sure to get there early as they sometimes sell out. All of their meats are amazing and their sides are great as well, especially the mac and cheese. Great selection of local beers and soft drinks as well. The owner also seems like a great dude. Highly recommended
I got the variety platter. Tri-tip was very tasty, as was the chicken sausage. But the ribs were disappointing - one was ok but the other chewy and tough. I came in late afternoon so maybe it was a batch that got pulled off the smoker early. The pulled pork was surprisingly bland and uninteresting. I had the coleslaw and honestly wondered if they even made it themselves - ingredients didn't seem that fresh, it was way too sweet and overall bland and soupy.
