Heard about this place because they are one of the only places open until after 4pm within 50 miles between here and Quincy.
Wish I didn’t. I got here expecting a true BBQ experience: hearty, delicious, and straight from the farm. Instead we got Safeway Nacho Cheese, a spoonful of beans on the wild style nachos (more expensive than regular nachos), and a sandwich that promised brisket, sausage, and pulled pork but only came with pulled pork and child’s serving of sausage for the same price.
Where’s the brisket? Obviously not in their kitchen. How can you trust a BBQ joint that don’t serve brisket…… I heard Taylorsville does this better.
Glad we got food because we were starving after a long day of working on the highway. But the kicker is we had to pay for water after they got all the orders wrong. Next time, I might as well go to McDonald’s at least they will give me water and some free ketchup for my fries. Eat local, eat at McDonald’s 👍

Stumbled on this hidden gem when we couldn’t get into any restaurants on July 4th week. The beef brisket had run out, so we had ribs and smoked pork plates. The smoked pork was a bit dry so I will just get all pork ribs next time. Two BBQ plates plus a couple extra side salads fed my family of 4. The corn pudding and potato salad were classic, and the Cole slaw and green salads were all super fresh ingredients. We tried multiple sauces and all were tasty. Cute outdoor garden patio. Nice vibe and good food!

Love this place! Andrea and Chris the owners are BBQ Masters. Brisket is next level. Same for the pulled pork. Sides and sauces are terrific. Don’t miss the cornbread pudding. Beers, wines and the vibe can’t be beat. Get some!
