If you’re driving between SoCal and Phoenix and don’t want the typical drive-thru meal, this diner (right off the freeway) is a great alternative. Discovered this small town, hidden gem when our car broke down halfway to Universal Studios one year. We scrapped the car at a local mechanic shop (sold it for parts) and waited for my mom/sister to come pick us up. The food is definitely made to order and some of it is even home made. We were hoping for a plethora of cake options as a desert menu (based on the name), but they are referencing hotcakes 😂

They don't have a dedicated gluten free menu; however, they do have some items (especially from the breakfast menu) that are naturally gluten free and their staff are helpful in making good choices and bringing awareness to the kitchen team.
