Great food and pairings, highly recommend!
Absolute wonderful experience! Chefs John and Steve were amazing; the appetizers, salmon and steaks were delicious, the wine John suggested paired perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful. The manager,(name was Paul?? Apologies if I misremembered his name) chatted with us and he was so charming! Gorgeous setting and great ambiance. I'll remember this evening forever. Highly recommended!
Stayed at the Inn and decided to dine in. We were not disappointed. Staff was helpful and professional. Entree was a bit slow in arriving ,due to large party ahead of us, but staff took care of us. Everything was delicious.
Food was delicious, service was very good. Romantic place for dinner on our 38th anniversary.
Great food!! We got the salmon and steak and they both exceeded our expectations.
Litchfields restaurant is part of the Sonoma coast resort and spa. We were here for a full weekend for a wedding and we ate and were treated like royalty. Everyone there couldn’t be nicer. Everything we ate was perfectly prepared and delicious. I loved the eggs Benedict at brunch.

Our Saturday night dinner was absolutely divine. I highly recommend the charming ambiance, and absolutely excellent, fresh food. I was lucky enough to arrive on Paella night and it was the best I have had in years. We were so thrilled to have found such a delicious and pleasant meal and wished we’d stayed at this hotel instead of Bodega Bay Lodge as the experience was so nice.
We love breakfast, and dinner. We made a mistake by going in town the first night for dinner...mistake!!! We should have stayed and had it here. But we quickly learned and should I say it was the best. High quality, tasty food. Warm service. Very accommodating.
The menu is varied and we used the "4-course" option. The bruschetta was the best we've ever had. The salads were very good. The bouillabaisse and taglietelle lacked umami, not up to some of the other offerings. Deserts were excellent, especially the chocolate gelato and beignets. The service was top notch. We could not have asked for better.

We ate at Litchfield’s for my husband’s birthday. The experience started off wonderfully with a menu containing a personalized birthday greeting to him. The restaurant uses the freshest, local ingredients. Every course was tasty and presented well. The steak i had for the main course was one of the best i have ever had, tender and delicious, seasoned to perfection. Chef Ivan is fabulous.
Thoughtfully put together 4 course Chef's tasting menu by Ivan Rodriguez, featuring farm to table ingredients from local purveyors. We had 2 salads: nectarine and cotija cheese with crunchy tasty roasted pistachios in a balsamic reduction and another of carrots, beets and goat cheese in an orange vinaigrette. For starters, light tagliatelle in a tomato herb sauce topped with goat cheese, and a gazpacho served in a beautiful bowl full of savory, complicated flavors topped with a basil oil. Entrees of perfectly cooked king salmon with a chimichurri, and roasted cud with a medley of veg and a blackberry type of compote. Innovative desserts: orange and mint creme brûlée, and a house made choc gelato to cleans the palate yet leave it happy. The maitre'd, Erick, an elegant and genuinely friendly man knowledgeable about each of the wines paired with our beautiful meals. We loved our dining experience here. At at only $100 per person, would be worth it at double the price.
This restaurant was recommended to me by my daughter. Litchfield’s is located in a stunning location. You can admire this green oasis through the huge panoramic windows. I noticed how harmoniously was selected old French musical playlist, which created a cozy atmosphere. Erick, our waiter and a restaurant manager was very gallant, courteous and affable. We followed all his advises on choosing wines and dishes. We started with Sonoma Nectarine and Cotija Salad which we paired with amazing 2016 Sauvignon Blank Sonoma Coast Vineyards. As a starter we ordered Wild Mushroom Agnolotti which was absolutely delicious! As entrees we ordered a rich Vegetarian Cassoulet and a Saddled Rabbit which we paired with Italian 2016 Vermentino. To finish our tasty feast we ordered Orange and mint creme brûlée. We spent there 2 hours and I can conclude it was one of the most wonderful food experiences I’ve ever had. The executive chef Ivan Rodriquez does absolutely stunning job! We will most certainly return back!
Litchfield’s is a wonderful find on Highway I. The location is unique with outdoor dining in a lovely garden. The interior is open and charming with wood details. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable about the food. The rabbit and the steak were delicious and perfectly prepared along with the nectarine salad and the mushroom anglioti. We ordered beignets for dessert.....they are the best!
