We had a really great time eating at the arches. at the time we went the bartender was the only server and we sat in the dining room, but still had amazing service. I was so hungry that I forgot to take photos of the food. The atmosphere was awesome. Really peaceful. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. I had the fried chicken and it was great. Loved the hot honey sauce it came with and the Mac and cheese was tasty as well. My wife had the wedge salad and it was super tasty...
Well we went in at happy hour and only 1/2 of our order was put in so we ate separately. The food was ok. On the other hand we went in for dinner the next day (why are you ask we were staying at the hotel next-door, so it was easy) on this occasion the service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Even the view of sunset was enjoyable. So I think an average their rating is a four.
Four of us went to explore Borrego Springs and see the wildflowers and the giant sculptures this past Saturday. I had done an online search to find what might be a decent restaurant in the area, and found The Arches. There were a couple of concerning reviews, but we gave it a try and were absolutely delighted.
