Sherrill and her crew were awesome! Borrego Days is today so we hit Big Horn having never been there and it looked not packed. We walked in, had around 10 other riders who thought the same thing, and I was super impressed at how quickly she processed the line, took all the orders, addressed the group so we knew we were being tended to. Small menu helps, which we appreciated honestly. Food came out quick, was yummy, and then they worked to make sure all had drink refills and were tended to. A very good impression was made. I understand only one person was running the grill too, impressive again. Thanks for being open and handling us.

We really wanted something healthy, but wasn't confident that we would get a decent salad, so we both ordered burgers. After we got our food, another couple who came after us received their food. Their salads looked absolutely amazing and they seemed to really enjoy it. Well, too late for us, but know that this place serves great looking salads. The outside seating was lovely.

Atmosphere was fun, but WAY too noisy, making it difficult to speak with tablemates.

An unexpected delight. Come on in to the Saloon to order or go straight past Lobby Checkin and food counter is on your left. Gorgeous raised outdoor patio views with beautiful desert garden beneath. Very well done! Then the food! I haven't had a burger that great in a long time. It was the kind where you need five napkins and oh, so delicious. I chose to customize mine which they encourage. Additionally, their secret sauce was yummy. Full bar available. If you need more reasons to try them out; the service was impeccable and it's adjacent to the AB Park Visitors Center.

Kid-friendliness: They make phenomenal shakes and custom burgers to ensure kids will like them!

Sneaky sneaky. So, the poor staff is overworked. So they want you to use a digital kiosk to order instead. Annoying, but whatever. You wait 10 mins in line to order, go through the whole order process, and *right* before you click purchase they sling the ol' "we add 3.5% to your bill cause [whatever paper thin rationale that's increasingly common to use by restaurants despite its *always* been true that there are costs associated with operating a business]. This is *not* posted anywhere else.Just charge the price you need to charge.Don't make your customer invest a bunch of time to just pull a extra fee "whoopsie" at the last second.Given this kinda silliness is all gonna be illegal starting July 1, annoying that they are willing to bleed it up to the last second.

Disgusting burgers! So disappointed! We were camping in Borrego and thought we'd give this place a try because we didn't feel like cooking. We ordered hamburgers and a side of fries. The food had to be ordered and paid via a kiosk. No human in sight. My husband ordered, entered his buzzer number and then waited outside. When his buzzer went off he went inside...our food was sitting there but again there was no human in sight. He left the buzzer & picked up our food. My burger was burnt and drenched in mustard. I wiped as much mustard off of my pickles & bun as I could but there was still way too much mustard on them. I threw the bun & the pickles away and rinsed my burger under the faucet. I didn't even finish my burger because it tasted so burnt. Strangely enough, the fries were good. Not a good experience and definitely not worth $30 for 2 burgers & 1 side of fries.

We're staying at the Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort, where this restaurant is located, so it's very convenient to go to for a quick bite. There's quite a selection to choose from for your build-your-own burger. All the ingredients are fresh or freshly made. They also have grilled chicken and Beyond Meat options. My son described this place as, "It's like In-N-Out but better," which pretty much sums it up.

Pit stop last minute after coming to see the bloom. Marina provided not only great advice and information. She had an amazing attitude and found my wallet that I dropped! The food was great topping it all off.

This is the second place I've been to in Borrego Springs for food and I'm much happier with this experience vs the first one I had at a "fancier" restaurant in town (check my review profile for the deets). This place is super inconspicuous and you don't really know it's there unless you stay at the rv resort here or look it up on maps in advance, which I'm guessing is why no one recommended it to me when I asked for food recommendations in a local Anza Borrego group. You order at either a front counter or you can order from the saloon. The saloon had a good small town bar vibe going on and the food was quick to be finished. I had the chicken strips basket which was great and my partner had the mushroom burger with impossible patty. We were both a lot happier with this experience vs our last one in town. Bonus is free refills on fountain drinks and they give you your fries in a drink cup so you can take them to go.This may become my go-to place to eat when I'm in the area hiking or camping.

Friendly service and a great place overall. I got the BBQ chicken salad, but it had no chicken in it. Still a great salad. My friends got burgers and the sweet potato fries were outstanding. Lunch for 2 ran $50. The inside is a bit dark. It is a saloon, after all. The patio was nice.
