A hidden gem with a great view and a Happy Hour friendly bar. You hardly see the actual cook and they summon back from outside or the bar with a pager.

Pit stop last minute after coming to see the bloom. Marina provided not only great advice and information. She had an amazing attitude and found my wallet that I dropped! The food was great topping it all off.

We got the desert storm (double patty), magic mushroom, and the Oreo milkshake. The lady at the counter was very friendly and before we ordered the milkshake, she did tell us it would take her 10 minutes to make it (sign that it's good!). It seems to be a popular place as people are coming or leaving town. The burgers were appetizing but the milkshake was the best thing and i did not want to share it with the other person lol.

This is the second place I've been to in Borrego Springs for food and I'm much happier with this experience vs the first one I had at a "fancier" restaurant in town (check my review profile for the deets). This place is super inconspicuous and you don't really know it's there unless you stay at the rv resort here or look it up on maps in advance, which I'm guessing is why no one recommended it to me when I asked for food recommendations in a local Anza Borrego group. You order at either a front counter or you can order from the saloon. The saloon had a good small town bar vibe going on and the food was quick to be finished. I had the chicken strips basket which was great and my partner had the mushroom burger with impossible patty. We were both a lot happier with this experience vs our last one in town. Bonus is free refills on fountain drinks and they give you your fries in a drink cup so you can take them to go.This may become my go-to place to eat when I'm in the area hiking or camping.

This has the feel of a food shack at a campground. If you are staying at the resort I could see this working out nicely, but I would not go out of my way to eat here. It is order at a counter, either via a person or a clumsily terminal if the person is busy. Then grab a table inside or outside, but the inside options are not plentiful or comfortable. Burgers were OK, fries were good. Wife said her salad was great. Just kind of an awkward setup to order and eat at, not a very comfortable place to have a meal.

Friendly service and a great place overall. I got the BBQ chicken salad, but it had no chicken in it. Still a great salad. My friends got burgers and the sweet potato fries were outstanding. Lunch for 2 ran $50. The inside is a bit dark. It is a saloon, after all. The patio was nice.

Mediocre food, slow service. I know all restaurants have side work, but ignoring your service counter is never a good idea. Borego Springs might be small but there's more than one place to get a burger and i doubt I'll be back.

Great spot for a delicious burger. The patties are flavorful with a nice charbroil to them. The Desert Burger is amazing with the sweet potato strings and Cilantro aolie. The Ginny Hendrix cocktail is yummy, not sweet, not so tart, just the right balance. I recommend you give them a try!

I've been here two times and both times were great! The burgers and fries are delicious and the soda is well carbonated. The atmosphere is cool because it's like an old western saloon interior. The staff is nice and the food is fresh. The only thing to note is it's a little pricey ($45 for two burger meals for two people) BUT it's out in the middle of nowhere and the amount of food you get is pretty amazing. I'm a big dude and can usually put away some food but I couldn't even finish my meal here! I would recommend checking it out if you're in the mood for a tasty burger after a long day in the desert!

The food was unexpectedly delicious. The entrance was hard to find and there did not appear to be any signage.
