Had the burger a couple of times. Can't really complain. The fries were good. Service was decent.

Such a hidden gem. Honestly wasnt expecting much for such a small town. It far exceeded my expectations! We had mushroom appetizer( highly recommend) and split a burger. Food was excellent!

Comfortable, casual dining, with a great menu. All the locals eat here. 2025 update. I took a risk and ordered a pizza, wondering if they could produce something good. I ordered the thin crust, chicken and artichoke, and I added portobello mushrooms. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in years! And I've sampled pizza in several Italian cities and all over California. Carlee's has a winner! The thin crust was light and crispy! Not soggy. The chicken was well seasoned. The portobello mushrooms were fragrant and perfectly cooked. Next time we visit Borrego Springs I'm going to come here again and try one of the other pizzas. Borrego Springs is a wonderful small village in the desert, and Carlee's is the place to eat.

We arrived like estimate 15 mins before they close, in hopes they were still serving food cause everything closes at 9 pm around the area from what I noticed. We were starving lol anywho thank goodness they told us they Were still serving food. We had about 4 mins which makes sense. We ordered the baja burger, it was one of the most flavors I had encountered in a burger! And I LOVE BURGERS. This burger definitely hit that top 5. So if you're here get that burger you won't regret it.

The food and service are great but, it is a bit pricey.
We are from scotland so enjoyed our experience here with our friend Annie. Was meet by Johnnie soon as we came through the door so sat at the bar tried a few cocktails, all were very good. Then decided to have a look at the menu well big choice so, baked mushrooms, jumbo wings BBq sauce really tasty. Fish tacos, Salmon poke, the girls really like them. I had the Carlee Burger lovely soft 1/2 lb burger beer battered chips and pickle, really enjoyed this burger. In between courses had some of the cocktails already mentioned. Thank you Johnnie made sure our stay was both Liquid and Filling. Fairly busy so glad we went in at 5pm.
It's Carlee's!!! In the middle of nothing, in its own juice, authentic, but that's exactly what we're looking for. Very pleasant service, excellent burgers, cheese cake and then there is the atmosphere with the matches on TV, the jukebox and the neon lights.

We have been going to Carlee's for like 25 years, it is a cool, dark, professional oasis of drinks and comfort food in our Sonoran desert landscape. Great staff who are longtime members of the community, and they treat everyone like a local.
Best place in town...... Literally... You can't go wrong here. They have great steaks, cold beers and a fun environment. I always drop by when I'm on my motorcycle trips.

food is ok, portion is good but the tortillas are saggy I was there to shoot pictures of the Milky Way so didn’t get to eat ch the band Worst part is after we done some pictures on the way back I found my water bottle was empty so I thought I just ate at this restaurant they should be able to help me refill my water bottle My wife went in and some guy told her ”you have to pay for the water” and told her there is a gas station right around the corner ? I saw that gas station I just thought I just want some tap water for free I tipped 20% that could be the reason ? We end up drove back with empty bottle Maybe I’m too greedy, I’m not going back to this place anymore. With this kind of service, I’m afraid what they do to my food
