Yes, it’s in the middle of nowhere, but that’s half the charm. The staff? Awesome. The beer? Five solid taps, plus a treasure trove of cans and bottles to keep any beer lover happy. I grew up in the area as a kid of a motocross professional and I remember this being a fun kind of community atmosphere. Not so much now. Beer and wine only bar? However the good looking bartender did pull out a very delicious strong aged in a whisky barrel best tasting ale I've honestly ever had. It was delicious. Shad and the others at the bar are so welcoming and supportive of our mtb riders coming through! They’ve been great hosts to the stagecoach 400 folks and it’s always nice to see friendly smiling faces midway through a long desert trek. Thank you guys!

A desert adventurer's oasis. Many a weary "Stagecoacher" and adventure rider take comfort at the Iron Door. The crew here are some of the most thoughtful folks making sure you've got a cold soda or beer (or both) and a hot pizza in your belly before rolling out. On a recent desert tour I rolled into the Iron Door and found it open with a crockpot of ham hocks and beans at 11am on Christmas day. And you can count on the crew to give you some good trail beta and other intel. After a tough slog through the washes, this is one stop you don't want to miss.

Rode my bike through the desert to get here and felt very welcomed. Owner and staff super friendly. The frozen pizzas were acceptably delicious given the circumstances. Glad they had a hazy on tap. Met a friendly bunch of locals as well.

Hell yeah just like I remembered it in the 80's. If you're lucky you may see ELVIS there. Nice pit stop for a cold beer with the boys. BEER AND WINE ONLY. Limited food.
