This place rocks. No two ways about it. Walked in and the owner Shad immediately made us feel welcome. You can tell he really cares about his patrons and wants you to have a good time. The vibe is very cool; dollar bills stapled all over the place signed by past guests, free pool (gets competitive so bring your A-game), pizza at all hours, cold beer, good music and conversation. In an eclectic, off-beat place like Ocotillo Wells, what more could you ask for? We weren't sure what we were expecting walking in but it exceeded expectations. Would and will be coming back!

Iron Door is the ultimate pit stop for refreshments pizza and laughs in the desert! ?Pedal through the loosie sand and refuel with their mouthwatering pizzas and refreshing drinks. The staff is as funny as they are friendly, making every visit a memorable one.So, next time you're in the area, swing by Iron Door for a slice of happiness maybe play some pool! Don't forget to pin a dollar bill in the wall (if you find an empty space)

A desert adventurer's oasis. Many a weary "Stagecoacher" and adventure rider take comfort at the Iron Door. The crew here are some of the most thoughtful folks making sure you've got a cold soda or beer (or both) and a hot pizza in your belly before rolling out. On a recent desert tour I rolled into the Iron Door and found it open with a crockpot of ham hocks and beans at 11am on Christmas day. And you can count on the crew to give you some good trail beta and other intel. After a tough slog through the washes, this is one stop you don't want to miss.
Rode my bike through the desert to get here and felt very welcomed. Owner and staff super friendly. The frozen pizzas were acceptably delicious given the circumstances. Glad they had a hazy on tap. Met a friendly bunch of locals as well.
