I've been here a few times. The outside patio is charming. Cadillac margarita served in pitchers really done well. The jalapeno mag is also great ?spicy but delicious. The food is authentic style and portions are a little more than average. Will be returning ?

Relaxing, homey and amazing quality food! Highly recommend for anyone near Borrego Springs.Service was top notch. Fabian & Karim waited on our table and were super helpful. The owner Patricia personally checked on our table a couple of times to make sure everything was perfect.We appreciate everything about this place from the water fountain relaxy vibes to the super tasty food.
As you can see, a lovely open-air setting around a fountain as well as inside seating with really comfy traditional furnishings. The staff is friendly and helpful and efficient. The food is great, we tried the California Burrito and Taquitos with guacamole and crema acida. Both were served hot and were delicious. Lots of room for groups or smaller tables for couples. This ristorante has a liquor licence and does traditional Mexican beverages.It's a family place for folks who like good food served well.There's lots of free parking, and washrooms inside as well as accessible from the parking lot.

No bueno! Ordered a Mezcal Margarita that was super sour & not at all Smokey. We returned them for a Mezcal shot & a Pacifico. They falsely advertise “Best Margaritas.” Not so. Ordered a combo #13 (beef taco, cheese enchilada & chile relleno) & was very underwhelmed with the bland taste. Beans & rice are average. While the servers/owners(?) were very nice, just not enough to make up for the bland food. Also, asked for” mas picante” salsa, but it never came. What’s a better Mex food option in Borrego? Asking for a friend. Salud!
