Really delicious burrito!!
Traveling through Borrego Springs on the way to Julian and stopped for lunch at Rams HIll. Friendly professional service. Food was fresh and well presented. My friend's cheeseburger was cooked to order and she said it was very good. I had the brisket and cheese sandwich on a pretzel roll. I'm not a fan of BBQ sauce so left it off, which was probably a mistake because the sandwich could have used a little sumthin' extra...maybe an herb aioli? Anyway, we shared a poblano Caesar salad, which was a first for me. It was good, with a little chile kick. Nice dining room with a fabulous view. I'll return. Beautiful scenery on the patio, fabulous food and service. Rams Hill is a must-do for dinner or lunch while in Borrego Springs.
Ram's Hill was wonderful! However, when we arrived, we were told that they were no longer working with OpenTable but with Toast for their reservations. Luckily, they still had openings at the time we arrived.
Came here just to have a drink. The prices are reasonable and the drinks are great. I definitely recommend the espresso martini. I will come back here for a full meal at a later date.
Limited menu Monday - Wednesday, but the food that was available was very good. Service was good although it took a long time to get my cocktail. There was no bartender so the service staff had to make my drink.
So I ordered a bourbon and soda along with my girlfriend's cocktail. When I got it the soda was flat. The waitress wasn't good at coming around so I asked one of the bus staff to get her for me. It had to be over 20 minutes before she got back so I could tell her the drink sucked. So by the time she did get back I was in no mood to have the drink because it wouldn't be before dinner. So I had her take it off the bill. My girlfriend ordered supposedly a 14 oz pork chop, that look like it came in at barely 10 oz. The filet mignon I had without the sauce would have tasted like a fried steak if you know what I mean. This was our first time here, and it will be our last. There are much better places in town to eat than this.

When we arrived for our reservation, we were told that they no longer use Open Table for reservations. Furthermore, they were not open for dinner that night. They did accommodate us in the bar and ordered off the bar menu... Bottom line...call the restaurant directly for reservations!
such a pretty restaurant at sunset! The view is gorgeous. We were there on a weekday night and it was not crowded. The service was good, the food was good but the view was so pretty.
Our first visit, but it won’t be the last. An excellent setting, and the food and service matched the view.

I really need to make a huge shout out to the entire staff of Rams Hill for their hospitality and going over and above for your care! Thank you Monica for taking such great care of us and our dear friend Rhonda who injured herself. You and the staff truly made a bad situation more doable. Thank you to Bob and the golf shop for helping as well. You have such a beautiful golf course, and thank you for making us all feel at home. Our Canyon Lake Men's Team Play was over the top at their golf tournament. 1st place GO CANYON LAKE!!! Last time was back in 2006. Thank you again to all of you for making our stay incredible!
We had margaritas, 2 types salads, and brisket sandwiches. We really enjoyed all the food and service. The traditional margaritas were very small and didn’t have much flavor. The strawberry margaritas was large and sweet.

Remember that this is a golf club restaurant and if you are not staying in one of their casitas, you will be treated like an outsider. We made reservations far in advance but the hostess recognized we were not staying there so she sat us outdoors. It was a pretty view of the golf course but when the flies descended on us, we realized why indoor seating was preferred by the golfers staying with them. The plates were presented well, but they had no flavor especially considering the cost. My salmon was bland and the filet mignon was gristly with an unsavory sauce. We wouldn't bother on coming back.
A lovely setting and delicious meal served by charming and attentive server Viviana. We impressed our visitors from out of town and are pleased and proud to be part time residents at Rams Hill. Truly a gem in the desert community of Borrego Springs.
