Nice outdoor seating. Extremely overpriced mediocre food. Unknowledgeable servers. There aren't a lot of options in Boreggo, but there are still better places to go than this.

The food here is good, but was woefully understaffed for breakfast the day we came (a Saturday in April). Took about 20 minutes for someone to take our order, and another 55 minutes to receive our order. So 1 hour and 15 minutes in total. Staff was not attentive to things like coffee refills, and was not the most friendly or communicative. I'd try some of the other limited options in Borrego before going here.

EXCELLENT customer service and the food was perfect! It's so adorable to sit outside.

We're on our vacation and got dinner. I got the Chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. My parents got the steak Caesar salad and beef stroganoff. Everything was amazing and we're so coming back again on our next trip. The service was spot on and the ambiance was fun.

Good food, mediocre service. Our waiter had to ask what a mezcal margarita is. Wait was about half an hour after the order was in.

There are signs warning of an hour wait, don't mind the wait , but the staff was rude / entitled... NOT WORTH IT!

Totally awful. Not fit for human consumption. They have ruined my order time and time again. I'm tired of giving them second chances..

This place is a must for breakfast. You can't beat the ambiance, the food is top notch, and the service is excellent.

I was told Red Octillo had a coffee bar, but unfortunately, they did not. They have to go, but that is all. The staff was friendly and the menu looked

Our server, Gloria, was sweet, friendly, and professional. I had eggs over medium, sausage, and French toast. Eggs were perfect, French toast yummy

Avoid this place if you want good Mexican food. The huevos rancheros were the worst I’ve ever had in California. The salsa was like store bought and had zero kick. Otherwise the ambience is

The food was good and the service went well from Gloria (she was great). A different woman came by at the end and rudely started wiping down the table even though she had brought my husband an iced tea a minute before. He joked that he'd quickly gulp down his iced tea. She asked if we had paid yet and they needed our table because other customers were waiting. We got up and as I was putting on my jacket she pushed past me to continue wiping down the table. We turned around and there was one couple waiting and other tables were available. Don't know what her behavior was about but it was a disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant meal. I worked in the food service industry for years and never treated customers this way.

Great spot for a bite to eat, we got in early in the morning and didn’t want to make breakfast so we decided to give this spot a go. Cute spot I would recommend if you’re not in the mood to make breakfast ?

Spendy, but nice place to dine. $50+ for breakfast was a bit ridiculous, though. Recommend Kendall's for breakfast. Eggs are eggs and their breakfast specials are a great deal.
