I showed up at roughly 5:00 p.m. And the trash cans were full and very smelly. Customer service was not all that great and the food got me sick. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was just full of oil

Adding this review just for the cheeseburger and fries...I've told dozens of locals about the awesome and affordable burger meal here and no one knows about it...they put ham on the hamburger with a special sauce...comfort food for the best price...

Very easily some of the best food you can get in Boulder Creek, let alone some fantastic Mexican food. We don't have a lot of food options here in Boulder Creek, and El Rey Leon easily makes up for any gaps in dining choices. We gladly visit this establishment as much as we can. We love everything that we have tried; the fish tacos and the carnitas pambazo are the 2 items that we have to get every time. This place does not disappoint.
