Worth the beautiful drive! I travelled from Soquel, about 20 miles each way… Paul is the owner and Graem from Scotland is a host minion, crafting amazing hot dogs, served with great charm and personality!

I had the Chicago Dog and the Spicy Polish. Both were fantastic, with special accolades to the very authentic Chicago Dog! Steamed poppy seed bun, sport peppers and celery salt! Yellow mustard, onions, tomato and sweet neon green relish, too!! I would dare say it was the best in kind, from coast to coast!

Keep up the great work!

Best dogs around!!

Very rustic in a tent but the Chicago style hotdogs were excellent! There is often live music too in various genres such as folk, blues, country, bluegrass and most anything else.

Delicious Polish, and a great spot to relax on a warm day.

They were great on the wharf. Sometimes you forget you even like hotdogs until you try one again. I hadn't had one since probably childhood but this was a really good one.

I'm from Chicago. Great Chicago dog. The only thing missing was the sports peppers.

Great little hidden gem in BC. They have real vienna hot dogs which are not sold on the west Coast that I'm aware of. Mid-westerners know about them.
If they add Flint style Coney's to the menu and curly fries, this would become a regular place for me.

FOOD POISONING!! Last Wednesday 4-24-24 I and a friend stopped here. He had a plain hotdog which seemed OK nd I had one with chili sauce and cheese and got food poisoning beginning 2 hours later which almost ruined my 5 day Buddhist Retreat at nearby Vajrapani Retreat center. The appear to have no refrigeration but only an ice chest. I initially said Monday and it was Weds. at about 1 pm in the afternoon and any refrigerators on site need fixing as it did give me food poisoning and there was NO other possible source.

Got hot dogs at a school event and spent the whole time in line. 100% not worth it.

If you want an authentic experience (which are in short supply) come get a dog and join the locals in Joe's for a few drinks before you get back on the road (and get out of town by sundown).

Kid-friendliness: super wholesome. family friendly.
