I witness some racism in the restaurant with the employees. I was sitting next to a table with Spanish man and a gay person along with a black woman. The employees took their time and waited for awhile until they received service! I set in right after we did in my party. We were served 1st and we were out the restaurant with a bad tastes on service next to us. We were served great and took care of us. I will not go back to witness rednecks treating other cultures wrongly! Rude staff!

Pros: Beautiful interior. Absolutely gorgeous. Wait staff was friendly. Clean bathrooms. Good parking. Brunch came with a chocolate muffin. That was a nice surprise.

Cons: It took forever to get the food even tho it wasn't crowded at all.

God awful brunch. Bad food. Undercooked potatoes. Average eggs. They forgot part of my meal. The toast was cardboard. For a place that looked so fancy, I'd expect something that was decent. If I can cook better than the restaurant, then it's not worth the money.

They brought everyone's food out except one person and she had to wait a long while. We'd already been waiting a long time. So this meant we had to wait even longer than we already had been waiting.

It was way too hot inside. I actually got up and left before the rest of the table and sat in my car with the AC to cool off waiting for everyone. I get that this place is an old building and climate change means it's hotter but I couldn't deal. If that were the only problem, it would be understandable. But the food was just bad.

Came home and had terrible diarrhea. I probably shouldn't have eaten the half cooked potatoes, but I was just so hungry.

Never going there again.

We drove 30 minutes for dinner at Scopazzi’s to celebrate my father’s birthday—his favorite restaurant and a tradition he looks forward to each year. Unfortunately, this visit will be our last.

After being seated outside, we were given menus, bread, and water—and then completely ignored. We waited over 30 minutes without a single check-in from any staff. No drink orders, no appetizer orders, nothing. Meanwhile, multiple tables around us were being served, so it’s unclear why we were treated as invisible.

This wasn’t just bad service—it was embarrassing and upsetting on a night that was supposed to be special. We finally walked out after realizing no one was going to acknowledge us. What a complete waste of time.

Scopazzi’s has lost our business.

Former logging residence from late 1800's. All beautiful clear redwood construction full of antiques. American and Italian fine dining menu. Table side made Caesar salad, deserts. Full bar, good wine and beer list. Been going here for many years, always very good service. Check to see if they are busy, make reservations.
We always go midweek and have no wait.

I visited the area to get a feel for the town and arrived around lunchtime. Before exploring the city, I decided to stop by Scopazzi’s Restaurant and Lounge — the reviews were promising, and the photos on Google Maps made it look like a classy, old-school spot.

When I walked in, there were a few groups already dining, but it wasn’t crowded. The atmosphere felt relaxed and the space had an old, historic charm that suggested it’s been a local favorite for years.

I ordered the Scopazzi’s Special Cheeseburger and the Spaghetti Bolognese. The spaghetti was decent — nothing remarkable, but comforting enough. The burger, however, was a bit of a letdown. The patty was slightly overcooked on the outside, which took away from the overall flavor and texture. I was hoping for something juicier, especially with the “special” label.

That said, the service was good. The waitress was attentive and friendly, and overall, the experience felt welcoming. While the food didn’t fully impress me this time, the ambiance and local feel made it worth the visit.

Might consider returning to try something else on the menu next time. ( Or not )

I am so sorry to say that the spaghetti Bolognese came out with little teeny tiny microscopic pieces of meat and a red sauce that was practically blonde… It used to be my father‘s favorite dish. I drove all the way up to Boulder Creek to enjoy this dish again in honor of my father‘s passing and it ended up being super hard under cooked pasta and the sauce was crazy disappointing… Maybe it’s because it’s a Sunday and the regular chef isn’t there ??? but honestly it’s just sad. They did not charge me for the meal, but too late my whole experience was crazy disappointing.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp from the parking lot to the right side of the restaurant

Our waitress pretty much ignored us for most of the meal and the portion for the $42 risotto is very small but everything else was really nice.

We got our order to go, this was our 1st and will be our last visit here. My husband had the chicken parmigian it was average, I had the calamari steak, it was described as lightly breaded then grilled with a lemon sauce. It was heavily breaded and well over cooked for how thin the steak was. The sauce was basically water and flour, had no lemon taste, so bland and dry. I'm used to awesome food from Casa Nostra. This was one of the worst meals I've had.
