This was a fantastic surprise as we stayed up the street so could walk to this historic restaurant. The food and service were impeccable. The atmosphere is classic with live piano music, delicious food and great wine selection. We absolutely loved it and I would happily come back again. Our server was attentive and gave great recommendations. Highly recommend this restaurant to any visitors.
Great as it used to be. We used to live in Boulder Creek 35 years ago and visited here occasionally. It has always been good. Was a great experience to come enjoy it again with old friends.

Delicious food and amazing service. It may seem a bit speedy, but so nice to find a restaurant with actual trained service. Beautiful atmosphere, and amazing Chicken Picatta. Enjoy real mountain hospitality.

I witness some racism in the restaurant with the employees. I was sitting next to a table with Spanish man and a gay person along with a black woman. The employees took their time and waited for awhile until they received service! I set in right after we did in my party. We were served 1st and we were out the restaurant with a bad tastes on service next to us. We were served great and took care of us. I will not go back to witness rednecks treating other cultures wrongly! Rude staff!
Old school family style Italian restaurant. Wonderful atmosphere with lots of historic photos of the Boulder Creek area. The food is excellent; very authentic Italian.

If you’re anywhere near Boulder Creek, do yourself a favor and stop by Scopazzi’s Restaurant and Lounge - it’s a local treasure. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere wraps around you like a cozy, woodsy hug, with just the right mix of rustic charm and upscale comfort.
The menu is full of thoughtful, mouthwatering choices, and every dish I’ve tried has been a home run. The steaks are perfectly cooked and melt-in-your-mouth tender, the pasta tastes like it came straight from an Italian kitchen, and even the sides feel crafted with care. Their cocktails? Absolutely top-notch - balanced, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients.
What really seals the deal is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about your experience, making you feel like a welcome guest rather than just another customer. Whether you’re out for a romantic dinner, a night with friends, or just a solo treat-yourself evening, Scopazzi’s delivers every time.
Boulder Creek is lucky to have this gem - I’d drive out of my way just to eat here again. 🍷🍝🥩

This is an old school fine dining restaurant built in an old wood historical setting. So much personality here it's worth eating at just for this.
The food was fantastic!! Couldn't have been better. I enjoyed the sea food capellini and fried artichoke appetizer.
If there was room for improvement it would be in the wine selection, but that's a matter of taste.

Ok so walked in the place has a cool atmosphere old school setting that had me thinking this was going to be a nice experience, then the food came……..I always order Ravioli at Italian restaurants as a gauge on their quality, this was one notch above Chef Boyardee and I wish I was kidding. My wife had the arugula salad and her chicken was at best two days old and dried to about the same age. Kinda a bummer could be an awesome place. Won’t be back. Service was friendly enough no complaints there.

Midweek breakfast, opens 10:30am, was there on a Thurs morning. 3 of us, seated in the bar area, seated as soon as they opened. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, it was so good my friend went back next day and got the same thing.
I've been patronizing Scopazzis since I moved to Boulder Creek in 1989. I moved to Oregon in 2017, so I missed out for that many years. Great to dine at Scopazzi's again.
