I visited the area to get a feel for the town and arrived around lunchtime. Before exploring the city, I decided to stop by Scopazzi’s Restaurant and Lounge — the reviews were promising, and the photos on Google Maps made it look like a classy, old-school spot.
When I walked in, there were a few groups already dining, but it wasn’t crowded. The atmosphere felt relaxed and the space had an old, historic charm that suggested it’s been a local favorite...

I have been there dozens of times with my brother Kirk and his wife Tami. they make a great Caesar salad, but my favorite thing is the cioppino, but it's rarely available unless somebody requests it in advance.
Parking: depending on the day and the time of day, it might be easy to get a space, but otherwise, it's worth a short walk from any available spot in town
