We had to move further away in the county, but made our way up to Boulder Creek entirely because we wanted to share a dinner at The Red Pearl. What a gem! We miss living close to this place. If you haven't already been, go. If you have been but it's been a while, go. Lovely owners, excellent quality food, large portion sizes, and a real feeling of sincerity in everything they do.

This was my first time In boulder creek and the lady that helped us made the trip so much more magical. She went above and beyond and gifted us goodies. The energy is amazing and the food was sooooo good. You need to come here

I come into the restaurant it took a little minute for the lady to greet me, but she apologize. I was like it’s fine and I ordered. Someone else comes in behind me to order. She asked them do they want any tea or anything like that. If they want to eat there or was it to go? Then my order comes up and she rushes it to me. I say thank you she says nothing. She hands the other customers their food and thanks them. I ate inside the restaurant and as I was eating, she reaches over me to grab utensils for other people that were eating outside. It was plenty of other tables she could grab things from. She apologized again as she reached over me as I was eating my food. One of the reasons I moved from the Bay area! The only reason I come back cause I’m in Med School for Chinese Medicine…. Alway treated differently.

Owner was extremely nice. Very hospitable, chicken was very crispy, hot complimentary tea was a very nice touch. Menu was very extensive, decently cheap as well. Will definitely recommend this place to other.
The least presumptuous restaurant you'll ever set foot in. Easygoing mountain community vibe, huge gluten free options, tasty bites and hearty servings.

Tasty food at reasonable prices! My girlfriend and I enjoyed the specialty menus – vegetarian for her, keto for me. I'm always on the hunt for Chinese food with no added sugar. The Szechuan beef was spicy and delicious, with lots of vegetables. The Dan Dan Noodles were a little more like Chow Mein than the Dan Dan Noodles you get in SF, but the peanut sauce was tasty. Can't say there was any Szechuan peppercorn flavor in either dish. The only downside for us is the paper plates, both because they are single-use and just not all appetizing to eat from.

The nicest people you will ever meet. The ambiance is great. Food is top notch. Free complimentary Jasmine tea. Vegan, vegetarian, as well as gluten free options are quite. The veggie Lemon Chicken is my go to but you cant miss here! Its worth the drive to Boulder Creek. Trust me!
