we've been coming to Lake Nacimento for over 30 years. So my children grew up camping and fishing Lake Nacimento. So some of our best memories are here on this lake. When my daughter love proposed she knew right where she wanted to be married!! On the lake! So a great big thank you to Layla for making this all happen. With all this Covid stuff thrown at us we had lots of hurdles to jump but, with this amazing woman and her staff that happened and it was amazing!! Thank you to Gina you're great thank you for putting up with the constant changes and to Tim thank you for always checking on us and making sure everything was perfect during our stay!! Thank you all for making my baby girls dreams come true it was even more beautiful than we could've imagined!!! The pictures aren't back yet but here are some guest pictures they truly don't do justice to how beautiful it was..

We were underwhelmed by our trip to the resort. First, we were disappointed that no one warned us that the Lake was at 15% capacity and still draining. Second, there is no TV and limited wi-fi on the property. We could get texts but calls were dropped and there was no internet. The lodge was dated but comfortable enough for 5 of us. We were able to cook in the small kitchen and make due. There were several items broken in our lodge including the screen door, blinds and the living room window was so fogged you could not see out of it. The beaches on the lake were littered with trash and glass. At one point we were swarmed by a group of families who had sea-dos and did not know the rules. Young adults were driving recklessly across the no wake zones. There were no rangers around to give them warnings. The marina staff was friendly, but there was no management present so they could not make executive decisions. They double booked our boat slip and would not rent us paddle boards by the hour before noon even though there were only 5 boat trailers in the parking lot. For what we paid I felt that the customer service was lacking. The facilities team was outstanding and asked several times how we were doing. Lori at the front desk was very kind and listened to our suggestions - like a landline for emergencies or to call down to the marina. I can think of other trips I would have taken for what we spent.

We rented 2 lodges for 4 people each. The lodge parking was a bit narrow and barely fit our truck at one lodge and van at other lodge. The lodges were clean and a bit dated. One lodge had 1 missing dining chair out of 4. We’re glad we were provided clean bed and bath linens. The refrigerator and stove worked great during our 4 day stay. Also we rented a pontoon boat for day. The boat was a little dirty and bimini shade could use cleaning and repair. The general store seemed well stocked. Overall we had a great time on the lake. We’ll come here again.

Spent this weekend at the Pine knoll campground at Naciamento Lake. Let me begin by saying we won’t be back. Friday night there was no sleep to be had before 1AM. A party of around 15 people were celebrating a birthday party. Nothing wrong with that. People have been in home confinement for way to long now! So they started playing music on their Malibu ski boat around 5PM. This thing had like 10 huge speakers on the tower. So loud felt like we were at a concert. Was fun at first. They were playing great music. 10 o’clock roiled around and they kept it up getting louder and louder. Stopped at midnight to sing happy birthday. Was relieved but no. Turned the music back on. No rangers came by. They were asked to turn it down by numerous people. Nope. The number that is posted to call for assistance went directly to a voicemail that was not set up. Worst camping experience ever.

Trash everywhere, loud music from several campsites till late at night. A lot of rude people who seem to think their the only ones staying there. Not a good outdoor experience. Asked gate workers if there was anything they could do and they said no. We used to come here a lot, but never again.

This spot is my favored. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this place I go the most. The team is very receptive and the cooking they place on your table is so fresh and tasty. I never miss an opportunity to have a good dinner in this place. Highly recommended.

I've been camping at this lake for over 50 years. I have never seen the campground so poorly maintained. My family has always stayed at the Pine Knoll campground next to the marina and restaurant. The campground has always had water hook-ups but no electrical or sewers. Now , you cannot hook up water. Restrooms are dirty, trees are not trimmed which is tough , especially with a 5th wheel and the campground hasn't been cleaned in a long time. I understand the difficulties of a hot dry summer but this is horrible. The staff (Lori) was courteous but not accommodating. Hate to see that Lake Nacimiento Resorts has ruined this once great camping spot. Would not recommend .

I camp a lot, a couple times a month. Thought I would give this place a try. Ninety minutes or so from home. Booked online, not given a choice of campsites which is unusual but thought I would take my chances. Not too bad of a drive from Salinas. The road from 101 to the lake is nice. It was a weekday in the beginning of October so few people were on it. The female at the checkin kiosk seemed surprised when I told her I had a reservation but she checked and sure enough, I had a reservation.... She gave me a small receipt to tape to my windshield and told me to drive in. I said it was my first time here and is there anything I should know. She just shook her head and said there is one road in and one road out and shrugged. That was a little odd. Most places have designated quiet hours, codes to restrooms, boat ramp instructions, and most importantly, a map. But she said there is no map. The lake is a multi arm body of water and this is the only campground company on the lake so this is the only deal in town. You cannot get info from somewhere else on the lake and use it here. I did not come for fishing which is the popular activity here. My interests are birding, I have an ebike so I was going to explore a bit after it cooled off. I have a kayak and wanted to explore the lake by boat and look for bald eagle nests. And I use a tent, not an RV although my car is set up to sleep in. And my reservation was for several days. Not being very confident about where I was going when I left the kiosk I turned into the first campground and drove all around it but the numbers were in the 700's. I was just glad I was not pulling a rig because this camp road was narrow. I never found one close to the number she had written on my windshield receipt so I went back out and drove down the road more. I passed some gated closed campgrounds, a hotel(?), restaurant and at the end (?) there seemed to be a combination of parking lot turned into a campground with the lake in the distance but to be honest maybe it was just a parking lot. Some cars were parked down by the water. The water level is very low which is expected. I did not see any signage about camping, campgrounds, boat ramp or anything else useful. I drove around aimlessly looking for a campsite or a sign with a map or SOMETHING, anything that could tell me where I was supposed to go. The roads are narrow and wind-y, a bit of a maze although there is no greenery so everything is in the open. I parked at the store to ask but it was locked up tight. I didn't see anything business related to ask. The distant shore where cars are parked, can I just drive down there? What about Quagga inspection? Is that where I am supposed to camp? What about the Marina? Is the entire lake open? Did I mention it was in the high 90's so it was pretty hot outside and I was now pretty hot on the inside after driving all this way to a "resort" that doesn't have basic info like a map, who to call after hours for emergency, rules about fires, wi fi codes, shower info etc. I was absolutely frustrated and frazzled. I had been excited and looking forward to cooling off in the water in the 100 degree weather predicted that day. I finally gave up after driving and searching. And to top it off after the drive out there I was hoping to find a restroom but where in this maze? I am so glad I live nearby so I just drove back home totally disappointed. It looked like a nice idea online.

Park roads were very narrow, had to be vary careful not to hit trees or go over a cliff. I have a 27' camper and site was to small to get into, I seen a few bigger sites but not many. Dirty, dusty, one way roads, hilly, no wifi or cell services in camp grounds. Maybe good for a guys fishing trip but hardly a resort. Web site photos are misleading.

This is surely one of the coolest place in the neighborhood. Always when I come there I am very pleased. They manage their high standard service and the topmost level of cooking they offer. You can never go wrong with this place. Warmly recommended.

Had a excellent experience in here with my kid. The food arrives quickly and the service is just fantastic. Prices are affordable.

last night was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is surely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the courteous service, with the excellent cooking and fine drinks and with the modest price. We will surely come back again.
