356 Korean BBQ & Bar is such a vibe. The interior is modern, sleek, and super cool, definitely not your typical KBBQ spot. The lighting, layout, and overall design make it feel elevated but still comfortable enough to hang out and enjoy your meal.
What really stands out is the variety of food. From high-quality cuts of meat to all the different sides and options, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re going classic with brisket and short rib or trying some of their other specialties, everything feels thoughtfully curated and fresh.
Great atmosphere, great selection, and just an overall fun place to dine. Definitely coming back.

We dined here and ordered one of the marinated wagyu beef belly dish. Before cooking, we noticed the marinade had an unusually thick, stringy texture, which seemed off but we assumed it was just part of the sauce.
This was the only meal I had that day. Within a few hours of eating, both of us became extremely ill with severe nausea, repeated vomiting, abdominal pain, and significant weakness.
It was a very distressing experience and raised serious concerns about food freshness and handling. I hope the restaurant takes food safety more seriously so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Every option we got in the AYCE was delicious. Hopefully they add fish cakes as a side soon.

Meat quality is very good but most of it ( not marinated kind) has no seasoning so when you dip salt or sauce, inside still no flavor. However, in general, service/food/decoration is very good.
Needs to improve : they use disposable chopsticks and spoon which does not match their price and style.

Overall pretty good. It didn't really wow me or anything but I also have zero complaints. The meats are pretty fresh, I got the lunch basic menu which had a little bit of variety but not much. The grills are slanted which is a little different also the grills are really small. There was not much room even for just two people. The servers are really nice, but they were doing construction or something while they were open. There just isn't any highlights on any part of this concept which makes me doubt I'll come back.

Three fifty six bbq already has several locations and this new spot is a welcome addition to the OC. Our servers Jojo and Meiqi were amazing. Ambiance was clean and immaculate. We went with their top tier Omakase menu for $61 and it’s a value for what you get. For example they start you with Wagyu short rib, beef short rib, and the American Wagyu cube short rib. The marbling is exquisite and it just melts in your mouth. Japchae, tofu, and steamed egg before diving into the beef short rib. The kimchi fried rice is so good and you get a great workout when you mix it up. Next up the sliced short rib and the ribeye made for a great palate cleanser. Then they hit us with the Wagyu sushi perfectly torched table side. Moving forward with the green tea pork belly, LA galbi, and the fresh bulgogi. A trifecta of savory flavors. Beef brisket pho was a welcome surprise. Green mussels taste awesome cooked with their brisket sauce. Then the Garlic butter shrimp to finish a great meal. Make sure and visit them soon!

Small, intimate atmosphere. The meats are top-tier quality and the service is incredibly attentive. It’s slightly pricey, but the overall experience is worth it. Would definitely go again!

I’m giving an extra star for the delicious food and amazing interior. However the service is the complete opposite. Orders being forgotten left and right. Getting double of an order. Getting water is difficult. Not seeing workers walk by you for minutes at a time and when they do come by they seem like they are trying to avoid you. A lot of time I noticed workers just hanging out at the front desk. Last but not least, having three different workers tell us that they are going to change out our grill and at the end our grill was never changed once. I really wanted to like this place but it’s trying its best to not let me.

High quality Korean BBQ🥩! Must try the omakase one. Start with wagyu short rib, beef short rib, and American wagyu cube short rib. My favorite is the wagyu short rib, it’s very tender and juicy.
Another one that I must recommend is the 356 seasoned boneless beef short rib, marinated with garlic sauce, soooooo good 👍!
And the matcha pork belly is very impressive, I’ve never seen this before. It’s very unique and you can really taste the matcha flavor in your mouth.

This Korean BBQ spot in Brea is massive and features a modern, sleek design—a huge step up from typical, greasy KBBQ joints. It’s definitely a great atmosphere for a date or girls' night out! We visited on a Wednesday, and it was already packed; it gets busier the later you go, so be prepared for a lively crowd.
The meat is sliced fresh to order, and you can immediately see the impressive marbling and thickness. For an AYCE restaurant, this standard is top-tier and a must-try.

Newly Opened AYCE Korean BBQ in Brea – Premium Cuts & Great Vibe!
Just tried this new all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ spot near Brea Mall – the meat quality here is seriously impressive!
First off, the meat is sliced to order, so you know it's fresh. The variety is huge – besides the usual cuts, they have options like matcha pork belly, curry pork belly, beef tongue, and shank… so many choices it was hard to pick!
We went with the $61 Omakase special menu to try a bit of everything. The portions are generous, so I’d suggest starting with a small selection first.
We sampled all the premium cuts (#1–9), and the starting set alone was stunning – the marbling on the beef was beautiful. My friend joked that back home, just a few slices like this would cost a fortune.
My favorite was the beef short rib – perfectly marbled, juicy, and so flavorful when grilled. The bulgogi was also well-marinated and tender (we ordered seconds!). The beef tongue had a nice chew, and the garlic butter shrimp was fresh and tasty. They also have a good selection of banchan, though we were too full from all the meat this time – next visit I’ll save more room for sides.
The service was attentive – the staff changed the grill plates based on what we were cooking. The dipping sauces were great too, especially the matcha salt, which was subtle and brought out the natural sweetness of the meat.
The atmosphere here is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for hanging out with friends, family dinners, or even casual work gatherings – great for sharing drinks and grilling together.
If you love quality meat and a solid AYCE experience, this place is definitely worth checking out!
