Fun!!! Loved the vibes, but most importantly the food was phenomenal, not to mention the prices 🤌🤌 Had a great time celebrating my birthday here with family.

The aroma is so heavily delicious you smell it as soon as you get out of your car. Great wine selection and the bread so soft and warm. The egg plant Parmesan was to die for. Can’t wait to return. The place was crowded, but worth the wait. Servers and cooks all working quickly to get the food out while it was hot. Happy atmosphere and very clean

This place is a good local Italian restaurant to go on a date or take your mama out for dinner. We ordered the linguine claims with white wine and it was a bit too salty.. waiter was super kind and asked if we wanted it to be remade instead he gave us a discount. Their draft beer selection is great and wine selection is great. Calamari is lightly breaded and tastes very fresh and not grimy or anything like that. The seafood pizza was mediocre and bit heavy.. besides service was great and will come back here again for another meal! Lord if you are willing let it be with a wifey. Also make sure to make a reservation!!

Alza is my go-to spot for Italian food whenever I crave it. They’ve got a great menu with baked dishes, pastas, and pizzas. Each entree comes with a choice of soup or salad, and complimentary bread is served.

I tried the creamy arrabiata with chicken or sausage. It was a huge portion, and the sauce was just right - not too spicy. The only thing I wished for was that the pasta was a bit al dente. It was a tad overcooked. They also have a huge beer list with tons on tap. They also had five different types of Fortaleza tequila on the menu!

This italian restaurant doesn't make any fresh pasta, and I think they don't even make their own meatballs and marinara sauce! My meatball bolognese was one of the sadder dishes I've ever had. The marinara sauce and minestrone soup were extremely salty, and tasted like they were heated straight from a jar (cuz they probably were). My meatballs were undercooked in the center, and the pasta was overcooked. My bolognese tasted like it's from a kitchen nightmares episode, and honestly, I can make bolognese at home better than this. I came hungry, and I left with 80% of my entree untouched.

The server was great, but he seemed overwhelmed. The calamari tasted fresh, which was the highlight of the dinner. The locale and setting was inviting and neighborhood-y, but I just wouldn't come here for the food.

I hate that I'm writing a bad review about an independent neighborhood restaurant, but this deserves it.

Cutest server I’ve ever seen 😍😍😍

Update: I still visit this fine establishment a handful of times a year, I wish I lived closer, for I would eat there on a weekly basis. Alas, perhaps it is for the best that I can not make it here as often as I’d prefer. For if I had it my way, my waistline would grow and my wallet shrink (though the dishes are appropriately priced)

The service and this one sever in particular is an absolute delight and just as striking as the first time I laid eyes on such a beautiful blessing not commonly found in nature. Her demeanor and personality reach heights that should be considered impossible by someone of her stature, but somehow she manages to bring an extraordinary energy with such grace and elegance that I can’t help but stutter when she asks me what I will be having.

The food is unmatched, with such fresh taste, my tastebuds can hardly contain themselves and I begin to salivate in such a manner that is reminiscent of a rabid beast, this all with just the mere thought of placing my order. Such flavors, textures and and oral explosions should be reserved for the gods, not us mortals.

Finally, I always make sure to thank the chef. The owner is usually present and is willing to to enlighten the customer with stimulating conversations. Of course, if planning to come in on a weekend, I recommend making reservations, I have yet to see a slow night at the ever wonderful Alza Osteria!!!!!

Great place if you like good food! A few things that could improve the experience would be a nicer atmosphere to match the food quality and food preparation could be more presentable but over all the food is great and the prices are even better. A++

The restaurant was clean and inviting, but I think they have an issue finding servers as the service was slow even though they only had 4 or 5 tables. They did get busier with people waiting 5-10 minutes just to get seated.

The food was just okay. I have a sea food pasta dish had way too mush lemon; it overpowered the dish. My wife had a different pasta dish and said it was too salty.

I don’t think we will be back.

Unless you want to wait an hour for proper service , don’t order out here. There is always some type of issue to my order. Either they forgot and upon arriving they are barely starting my order or adding extra ingredients I didn’t ask for (or like). Plus, they have a small cramped wait area and it is right next to the exit which makes it more of an inconvenience to wait for something that SHOULD already be ready. It seems like this place hires teenagers that are too focused on chatting/ hanging out rather than working.
