To pay $9.69 for the bagel breakfast sandwich is bad enough but rude person taking the order and he should be much better at the prices they charge. No water cups so no water. I expect better but it’s in a dead mall

This place made me hate tater tots. I love breakfast food and I will give any place that caters to that niche food a shot. I was disappointed. The cheese sandwich was okay but the tater tots it was a jammed-up compact mess of onion, bacon bits, smooshy potatos, sauce, and the fried egg was odd. Like it was a first that the yolk and egg white were grossly runny. The whole thing was inedible and the money I paid for the meal no way justifies what I got. The only slight redeeming thing was maybe the cold coffee but really it's black coffee iced.

Sub par in every aspect. Service was terrible. There's a surcharge for using your credit card or debit card. Owner and workers are rude and mindless. Avoid at all cost.

Don’t mean to be a Karen but they really did do me dirty. Went to the food court in hopes of snagging some of their yummy tanghulu (which they are known and named after) only for them to be out. Okay, no big deal, so I ask the guy if they will be making more today. He says yes, one hour. I wait an hour and come back. Still out. Okay, no worries. I ask a different woman she says an hour. Alrighty. I wait another hour and lo and behold, still nothing. So I ask again, a little upset that it’s already been 2 and a half hours. So I ask again different lady about it and she tells me that they won’t have any more for the rest of the week. Um.. hello? They could have told me that warily and I wouldn’t have been so pissed. So I confirm with the manager that they hadn’t had any all day and he says, yes. So.. yea. Make sure you triple confirm before waiting an hour

The breakfast burritos here are amazing and delicious. HUGE. I am a repeat DoorDash customer because I’ll get the craving once in a while. Th sriracha aioli is also addicting. Definitely try this, they are super consistent.

The Breakfast Factory at the Brea Mall ⬅️

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Breakfast Factory in the Brea Mall food court, and let me tell you, it was a very tasty experience! While they offer some mouthwatering breakfast burritos that caught my eye, I decided to try their smash burger menu this time.

I went for the double cheeseburger smash burger combo, which came with a generous portion of crispy fries and a drink that had free refills—always a plus! The burger was a true standout, featuring their house sauce that reminded me of a delicious Thousand Island dressing, along with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

I was thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast offerings and other menu items. If you’re in the area and looking for a satisfying meal, The Breakfast Factory is definitely worth a visit! Five stars all the way!

First time and I enjoyed it

I came here for the first time expecting a decent meal, but honestly, I left feeling pretty disappointed. The food itself was okay, but the way they handle their pricing is just disrespectful and feels like false advertising.

What I Ordered:
• Cheeseburger ($8.27) – The menu screen said $7.99, but when I got my receipt, it was $8.27. That’s not tax—it’s just them charging more than what they advertise. The burger itself was fine, nothing special. Standard toppings: house sauce, pickles, lettuce, diced onions. I also asked for it to be cut in half, which they did. But honestly, after seeing the price difference, I was already annoyed.
• Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger ($12.41) – It was decent, had the right toppings, and tasted okay, but for over $12? Definitely not worth it.
• Fries ($4.13) – Regular fries, nothing crazy. Crispy but overpriced for what you get.

The pricing here is shady. If the screen says $7.99, why am I being charged $8.27? It’s not a huge difference, but that’s not the point. It’s the principle if you advertise a price, you should honor it. It just feels sneaky, and it’s really disrespectful to customers.

Final Thoughts:

I don’t like feeling like I’m being scammed, and that’s exactly how this felt. The food was not good enough for me to just ignore the pricing issue. If they’re doing this with one item, who knows how many other things are priced wrong? Won’t be coming back unless they fix this.

Awesome burritos. You get your monies worth here. Great tasting and full large burritos, not small like other places for same price.
