Excellent, fast service, super friendly staff, and no problems with special orders. Food came just as ordered and was very good.

We arrived for dinner early on a Thursday. We were seated promptly and warm chips and salsa were delivered to our table.
Our meals were delivered promptly and served hot and freshly prepared. I enjoyed the option of jalapeño white rice with my combination plate.
Our only comment is the service was slow throughout our visit, declining as the number of diners increased.

This place is okay. Ive been here several times with either friends, family or co-workers. It's kind of hit and miss. Sometimes good sometimes not so much. Service is always friendly. But the food is not consistant. Sometimes a burrito comes with no cheese and the next time it does. Ala carte order of rice and beans not even warmed up. But on the other hand the bar is great. Margaritas are always on point and delicious. I think that makes up for the shortcomings. It also looks lively during happy hour too. But i havent partaken during that time......yet 😊

If I could give this place 0 or negative stars, I would. The cheese enchiladas are chewier than an overdone steak. I don't understand how they broke the laws of physics here. Cheese that doesn't melt...

Little hidden gem. Seating and service was good. Its Mexicali food which is great and expected. Margarita was good and made with love and they brought out homemade chips and two salsas. Any place that brings our free chips and salsa know what they're doing. The menus has more then enough to choose from but the beauty is they have a happy hour and lunch menu which is phenomenal! Jenn is an amazing server and super friendly making sure I make the right decisions with drinks and food. Great little place to check out!

I made reservations for a party of 13 at 4:30, but when we arrived the space was not ready. It turned into a scramble to find a room that could accommodate us. That said, our server Manuela (apologies if I misspelled her name) did a great job moving tables together and making it work under the circumstances she truly tried her best. I suggested this restaurant to my family to celebrate my grandmother's 91st birthday. And no, she's not your average 91-year-old she's dancing, moving independently, and absolutely loves Mexican food. My friends and I frequently visit King & Queen Cantina and Tempo Cantina, so I thought this location would offer a similar experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The vibe here was noticeably different, the food was mediocre, and the drinks were just okay. We weren't informed about happy hour or new menu items until after we had already placed our order. The staff overall looked exhausted, and the energy simply wasn't there. It felt nothing like the Tempo experience we're used to. If you're looking for that atmosphere, I'd recommend the Downey or Santa Monica locations instead. One additional note regarding tipping: if a 20% gratuity is automatically added to each individual bill, the service should reflect that from the moment guests walk in. Otherwise, starting at 15% and allowing guests to add more feels more appropriate. P.S. we are taking her to King & Queen because we know the difference
Everything was beyond delicious and the service was exceptional!

Ah! Authentic Mexican... Lunch specials were great, and the main menu is awesome too. This was recommended by so many different people in Brea. You could get away with less than $20 if you wanted to.
