Choice Burger in Brea is one of those spots that just quietly exists, doing everything right without making a big fuss about it. Every time Iâm anywhere near the area, itâs basically my go-to. Itâs a little stand-alone placeâhonestly, I wouldnât be surprised if it used to be an old Taco Bell way back when. The building kind of gives off that vibe. But what it is now is a solid mom-and-pop greasy spoon that knows exactly what itâs doing. The staff is always super friendlyâjust nice, down-to-earth people slinging big portions of comfort food without any pretension. And when I say big portions, I mean you better show up hungry or bring backup. Theyâve got all the classics: burgers, sandwiches, breakfast plates, plus a whole lineup of Mexican dishes like quesadillas, tacos, burritos. Basically, if youâre craving it, theyâve probably got it. Every time I go, I tell myself Iâm gonna branch out and try one of their Mexican plates because they look great. But I always cave and go back to the burger combo. Itâs like that friend you can always count onâreliable, satisfying, no surprises. This time around, I got the double cheeseburger with fries and a drink. The whole thing came out to under $15, and let me tell you: itâs a lot of food for that price. Big sandwich, massive pile of fries, and by the end, I was so full I actually left food on the tray. That almost never happens. Theyâve got this little salsa bar tooâfresh diced peppers, plenty of ketchup, and if you ask for ranch, theyâll give it to you without nickel-and-diming you for it. I didnât ask for a drink refill, so I canât confirm if theyâll top you off, but honestly, they probably would because theyâre just that kind of place. Is this some fancy gourmet Smashburger? Nope. Itâs not pretending to be. Itâs just a really solid old-school cheeseburgerâfresh, tasty, with all the fixings. I added grilled onions (no extra charge) because thatâs how I roll. And like I said, I still had to tap out with a couple bites left. One of the other things I love about Choice Burger is the easy parking. Itâs tucked on a side street with plenty of free spaces right out front. No parking stress, which is half the battle for me when Iâm deciding where to eat. Theyâve also got both indoor and outdoor seating, and since it was a perfect sunny day, I sat outside. Totally chill, totally satisfying. Bottom line: if youâre just looking for a great little local burger spot where youâll get a ton of food for a fair price, Choice Burger is absolutely worth it. I recommend it every time.

$12 for a combo, however if you swap the meat for a garden burger it's $18. Uh, no.

An all-around good choice for a low-key meal. The burgers are flavorful and clean-tastingâno grease. The French fries are perfectly cooked; crisp enough but not crunchy. The staff are always friendly and the restaurant is clean. This is one of our favorite comfort food spots.

Not only are their burgers superior compared to the local places, but their staff is super friendly and the place is clean. Everyone behind the counter are super friendly. I always get their double cheeseburgers and man, itâs pretty good!

I have been coming here for over 13 years. Now I live a hour away and I still come once a week for great food and wonderful employees. Their chicken salad is by far the best. Thank you Rosa and the cooks for everything.
Go to place for a steak breakfast burrito before my son starts school when in a rush. I suggest calling order in ahead of time.
