Great food selection for their Sunday champagne brunch and great service with Cynthia. She was kind, friendly and had amazing service.

Great service! Tasty fresh/hot tortillas! Much better experience than last time (the service made the difference).

El Torito Grill is a different concept from the standard El Torito restaurant, though both are owned by the same parent company. El Torito Grill generally offers a more upscale dining experience with a focus on fresh ingredients and bold flavors, while El Torito is a more traditional Mexican restaurant chain.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

El Torito Grill:

Often described as having a more modern and upscale atmosphere.

Emphasizes high-quality meats and fresh vegetables in their dishes.

Known for dishes like fire-roasted pasilla chile relleno, chicken and sour cream enchiladas, and beef barbacoa crispy tacos.

Sometimes offers a unique black-colored salsa that is a mix of sweet and spicy.

El Torito:

A more traditional Mexican restaurant chain.

Offers a wide variety of classic Mexican dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, and tamales.

Known for features like all-you-can-eat Sunday brunch, and weekly happy hours.

May have different pricing and menu options compared to El Torito Grill.

Sad. El Torito became greedy for Father's Day brunch. They over booked reservations and were not able to accommodate. Our yearly tradition, in which we have grandma come from 40 miles away was ruined. We had reservations and waited over an hour after our reservation time to leave. People with reservations 30 minutes before us were still waiting when we left meaning they were there at least 90 minutes before their reservation. El Torito also decided it would be a great idea to set up a tent for dining in 90 degree heat. Seriously?! We were also told we had no choice where we would be seated. Wonderful Father's day brunch guys. Do better.

It was Father's Day so I made a reservation but the restaurant clearly did not have enough staff to meet the demand. There were empty tables waiting to be bussed while fifty people were waiting to be seated. And we used to like their menu but it has changed and not for the better. It was disappointing!

We had reservations for 4:15. It took about an hour to get seated even with reservations. Food took forever to be served.

Waited for almost an hour for a 2.15 reaervation. My dad wanted to be there to experience the brunch buffet but by the time we were seated, it was over. manager said we could still do it but the hostess was not aware had to ask for manager twice after that and service was just really poor.

Very chaotic. It was Father's Day. Even though we had reservations, they were clearly overbooked and we waited 40 minutes for our table. Their waiting area was small and cramped. It was a hot day so people were trying to find shade, some ended up sitting on the floor right inside the restaurant door. I have a 2 year old with a nap schedule. We were just about to leave when they called us. Servers did their best, but they were understaffed. Food was ok, not bad but not great, on par for a buffet. I am unlikely to return because the process was poorly managed and it felt really stressful trying to do a nice Father's Day while managing a 2 year old. I booked over a month in advance and was expecting a more peaceful and smooth meal.

The food was so yummy, my husband had a combo plate and I had a fajita salad.
The best part of the meal was Joanne, our server. She was friendly and fun, checked back with us several times and just made the meal special.

Food was okay for me but looked good for other people. The fajitas seemed really good. I got the vampiros which were okay. The tortilla chips were cold, but the salsa was good.
