Casual, family-friendly seafood chain restaurant next to Lazy Dog Restaurant - Fiery Crab opened recently and replaced Islands. They are located in a small lot across from the Brea Mall, right off the 57. Seating is available via bar, standard tables, and booths. They've spent a lot of money on the place and it looks great. It was extremely slow and empty compared to the Lazy Dog next door. The service was very good and the food wasn't bad. The plastic containers for sauces were a bit tacky and definitely not environmentally friendly if you're bothered by that. Overall, it wasn't bad, but I doubt I'd go back.
This was our first time - immediately loved getting proper utensils and the restaurant is so super clean. Thank you for that!
Our food was excellent - next time we will take it up notch but the shrimp, crawfish and snow crab were excellent.
