The meat is so tender and fresh. Sides are flavorful. Service is impeccable.

We love this restaurant! This is one of our favorite restaurants. The waiters were super friendly and nice. We love the food and desserts there. I highly recommend the Yakiniku Party as it includes a wide range of food from salad, sushi to raw meat (beef, pork, shrimp etc) for BBQ. We will continue to be loyal customers!

The original udon noodles are gone. Sad to say. They are using fettuccine noodles now for their noodles. I was very displeased with the food and how poor the quality has become. Service was great! Antonio was on top of everything. The Hawaii location is still hands-down the best location this company has. All the other locations across the nation are complete garbage. They don't even come close to the one in Waikiki. Go back to your original roots and make restaurant blossom again.

It was our first time eating there. The staff helped us with very easy instructions to show us how to cook the meats. Each meat came in its own marinade so they were all different tasting, and they all tasted good. The Happy hour special was great way to try it out.

We love Gyu-Kanu & usually go to the one in Pasadena. This one is much louder & the high ceiling makes it echo more. The service was good but not great. Hard to make eye contact when you need something. They did fit our party of 12 in for my sons birthday so I appreciated that immensely. Will come back & see if the service was a fluke.

Great food and good atmosphere. Large parties are subject to slower service so beware. But great for Date Nights. Yaki Shabu and Beef Toro are my Go-to.

I don't understand why a restaurant would take a 7:30 reservation when they close at 8. We ordered a few items and then we're told the kitchen was closing. They then started cleaning our table while we were still eating.

Servers were slow to rotate to table. Drinks remained unrefilled. Ran out of meat and could not order more meat to grill. Then they came and said it was last call. The rancho cucamonga location has better service.

I've been been to this before and overall it's fine/good. This particular visit, though there was a musty smell? It almost just smelled dank, and that is very disconcerting or someone about sit down to a meal. in fairness, the food mostly was fine. The appetizers maybe could have been served warmer? But overall, no major complaints about the food. The grill itself was not working properly and a ring needed to be removed. Just so we had the proper amount of heat to cook with? Which really shouldn't be the case at a $200 meal. Overall, I think this restaurant needs a deep clean and a refresh.

Late evening on Saturday, the place was basically empty. When walking in, it smelled like an unwashed gym: like sweat kept wafting from inside out, but the cold air draft whooshed in every time the door opened which would be solved quickly with one of those privacy foldable dressing panels. The ramen was clean though, but it wasn't memorable. Not as fatty as other ramen places, and the drinks were alright. Understaffed sign was placed, but it seemed like just as many people walking around as there were tables seated.Friendly staff, quick output for drinks, and ramen was split without asking, so good service! Definitely not as lively as any other gyukaku experience, but it was probably just off timing. I'll be back for Korean soldier stew!
