I got fish tacos and water. After all said and done $7 per taco is way too much at any sit-down restaurant that doesn't have half naked dancing girls.

We ate here today for lunch! It was a GREAT experience. We had Chelsea as our server and she went above and beyond as usual. We have had her in the past and every time she has just been on top of it! The food is great and I love the cheddar fries with bacon. Good location near the brea mall and they have a nice outdoor patio seating.

Normally I don't write reviews, so something has to either be extremely bad or extremely good for me to do this. Thankfully, this is the latter. My waitress Chelsea was top notch. Very kind, attentive, and warm. We hardly had to actually ask for anything. She was on top of our refills, our food, and everything in between. Thank you Chelsea, you made our day!

Just finished my experience at island's restaurant. my husband really wanted a Burger so we went here since it was close to the mall in Brea. I haven't been to an island's restaurant in ages so it's nice to know that even through the tough economy and everything else that there are still these great restaurants around. Nana the manager was especially helpful, she even suggested some great sandwiches since I wasn't feeling like beef myself And she even came by multiple times to check on us and make sure that we were enjoying our experience and our food. We will definitely be back and hopefully we'll get to see Nana!

I have been here for an hour now and still haven't received my food. The waiter had come once to check on us and hasn't offered any condolences. No napkins no silverware. All in all service is terrible. Would not eat here again

We sat at the bar. Not sure if the service is always a tag team style, but it was very choppy. Girl brought refill of Sprite, only it was water. The fries that came with the Kilaueia burger were both hard and cold. Didn't have a chance to tell the waitress. Then they put down the check, before we had a chance to order dessert. Ordered the butter cake, but it was cold, not warm like the one at CPK. All in all, this will be our first and last time here. We much prefer the Island's in Anaheim Hills.

This islands location has been the go-to for the last 2 years. Food has never failed me! And the service is always note worthy! Burgers, salads, tacos, chicken sandwiches. The list goes on, all good! Appetizers are all good as well!

Shout out to the of Islands manager Nana! She represents the the restaurant very well! This is extremely important, especially in this tuff economy. Dining out is a luxury and a bad experience is a waste of my hard earned money. I walked in with my granddaughter, gave my name and the and the hostess forget to write my name down:/ because of her mistake I would have to wait an extra 20-25 min. I brought this to the Nana's attention and she professionally, and politely rectified the problem. I own a restaurant and I hire her in a heartbeat! I also have to give props to my waitress Chelsea! She went above and beyond excellent service. Her recommendations were on point. Chelsea had the most friendly and happy attitude:) my granddaughter loved talking to her, Chelsea actually treated us like family. Thank you Nana and Chelsea for marking our dining fun and enjoyable. I hope corporate reads this and gives you both the recognition you deserve

I haven't had a burger as good as Islands Maui burger with a side of sweet potato fries. This was one of the best tastiest most flavorful burger I've had in years. I tried the same burger at the West Covina location and it was good but not as flavorful as the Brea restaurant. I don't know what they do to their burgers but If I want another fantastic burger then I need to go back to the Brea Islands
