The food is good and the prices are fair. Nothing outstanding, but nothing negative either.

French Toast served here is an affront to all other French toast, would rather have an eggo frozen stick than this again.Burrito truly is best in town, extremely worth it. 10/10 please go here just for the burrito alone.Menu is a bit on the pricier side, and based on the $9 French Toast (just the toast, not a combo)…not justified.Staff is nice, atmosphere is exactly what you want from a place like this, very comfy booth seats.3/5 - wish I didn’t get the French Toast.
Looking for a great "Hole in the wall" burger and breakfast place ... this is it. At John's Place, you'll get good serving sizes at a good price. We've always enjoyed great service and a very comfortable atmosphere. I recommend the shrimp dinner and ask for 1/2 fries and 1/2 zucchini.

Love this lil 'ol skool coffee shop/diner. Seeing the waitresses interacting with customers tells me they're regular patrons that love the food & enjoy the friendly servers. Sure enough, food was delicious & servers are very friendly, keeping my coffee warm & full throughout my breakfast; that's 5 stars in my book! Great breakfast spot to meet up with friends before starting your day! ?
I have driven by John's Place dozens of times and finally stopped in tonight. I had a Burger, Onion Rings and Chocolate Cake. Compared to most Diner-type restaurants the Burger was twice as thick, juicy and flavorful. It is the best Burger in it's class! I ordered the Onion Rings well done (I like them a little browner than usual) and they were delicious! Crispy, Light, with the most flavorful batter coating ever. I will go back just for these. On the way in I looked at the Dessert Case. There was Cheesecake, Chocolate Cake, Pumpkin Pound Cake, Muffins and more. Everything looked amazing and I ordered a piece of the Chocolate Cake. The Chocolate Cake was incredible! Rich, Fudgy and Fresh! At most restaurants like this desserts are an afterthought and are usually awful. I can't believe how great this Chocolate Cake tasted. It is better than the Cheesecake Factory's Chocolate Cakes. I can't wait to try their other Desserts and their Shakes. Excellent Service and Ambience. This is a neighborhood gem and you have to try it. Bravo John's Place!Parking: Always lots of free parking.

If you order online it is too pricey for the amount of food that you get. I ordered a chicken sandwich melt it cost me $11 and it was really small without any side. The size of the salads are small. I had dined in before and the sizes are ok I guess they take advantage when you order online and reduce the amount of food.
