Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Will never be back. This was for a catering order. I hosted a birthday party at my house last Saturday and spent over $450 on food for the party. The Kahlua Pork and BBQ Beef were so salty they were inedible. It completely ruined the meal. I normally don’t complain but a guest nudged me because it was so bad she said. I didn’t call Sunday because it was my family members actual birthday and we were continuing the celebration so I waited until Monday. The mgr was not there so I left a message. Then tonight ( I left the message last night ) at about 15 minutes until closing I still have not received a call back so I call them. I spoke to the manager Mike and he proceeds to tell me that their marinade is always the same, the proportions always the same, that he’s never had any complaints. I tell him ‘well it was inedible’ and that I still had the food and asked if he would like me to bring it if he didn’t believe me so that he can taste and see for himself how little we ate. Then he’s said no, no, no I believe and then asked me why I didn’t call the night of the party? Can you believe this guy? I said because we ate later, you were already closed and I wasn’t going to interrupt the party ro call the restaurant to complain! Then he continued with the ‘they always use the same marinades, the proportions are always the same….’ essentially calling me a liar, AGAIN! So then he asked me what do I want and I told him I wanted a partial refund. He said no we can’t do that. I said why not? He didn’t have a good answer. Then he asked why I waited until today to call! I told him I didn’t. I called yesterday and you didn’t call me back. I had to call again. I didn’t call you Sunday because it was the actual birthday and we were celebrating so I called the next day. Then he went again with the whole ‘we use the same marinades, the proportions are always the same and we’ve never received any complaints’ line again. He sounded like a robot! So I asked him directly do you think I’m lying?? And he of course says no, no, no. Then he wants to know if I have a receipt and we go through a whole song and dance about the order number and the card used and basically tried to make me feel like we had never placed the order! I was blown away. Finally he tells me he can refund $50. I said that’s it? That’s not even 20%! He didn’t give me a good reason but I didn’t want to argue anymore so I gave in. Don’t ever cater from here. They are clueless with their customer service.

Yummy Hawaiian food made to the standard you would expect from any L&L BBQ yet lack clean dining area and restroom facilities.
The food was yummy. The Katsu chicken and beef bbq was flavorful and delivered presentable. The side macaroni salad was on point. The Spam Musubi was a bit on the burnt side and could have used a bit of improvement.
Yet I was surprised by the poor condition of the dining area. It felt it need a thorough cleaning from the floors to the tables even the walls had damage or "gunk" serious calling to question the quality that is put in make the food. These issues I only noticed once I sat down after I ordered. If sat down prior to ordering I don't think I would have ordered based on what I observed.
There seemed to be plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The staff that took my order was friendly.
Parking: Parking available conveniently in front of restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: They offer kids menu and a bit of a smaller price and serving. Food choices are what kids would want.

Ordered a BBQ mix and the chicken(which is what they mostly put in your plate) was dry and was probably unseasoned. Beef was also lacking flavor and the mac salad is not that great. Maui Hawaiian BBQ in Fullerton is way better than this place trust me.

I used to come here and the food was good and economic. Now the food looks old and chicken tastes like it was from yesterday. I got a chicken plate and Thai tea for $25 not going back for the price and for the quality of food. Sorry not with $25

I was craving Spam Masubi so I came here. Unfortunately, the Spam Masubi tasted like it was sitting all day. The Spam was thin, crispy and dry. Not cooked the way I'm used to. I bit into it and it didn't have a fresh taste to it. I also ordered the combination plate with beef short ribs and fried shrimp. The short ribs were on the saltier side, but tender and flavorful. The fried shrimp were cooked too long tasting harder and crunchier than they should have been. The white rice was soft and fresh. The macaroni salad was fresh. The service was great. Server is friendly. The food also came quick. I may come back to give this place a second try in case they were off their game. But $32 for an unpleasant experience was too expensive.

This L&L location has higher prices, smaller portions, and worse service then the one located on Chapman Avenue and State College.
This is my go to dish for a healthy meal, the garlic fish plate. My sides came with rice, mac and garden salad. Very yummy! Thank you for my delicious dinner L&L!

Ordered the sandwich, per site it says it comes with fries (and lettuce and tomato) I got an egg and spam sandwich only. When I called they stated “oh yeah no, it’s wrong” ummm weights and measures! That’s not right. I will be making a formal complaint that’s clearly false advertising. Pic 1 clearly states what it should include pic 2 is what I got.

We ordered there party pack that was supposed to feed 10 people, and they did not give us the comparable amount of beef. And gave us rice for 30 people. We only needed and asked for rice for 10 people. We have ordered many times from this place. The manager failed to call us back and upon us calling again and explain the explanation he failed was only argumentative and was not willing to offer any real compensation. This was really disappointing as we have come here many times.
