Expensive! All sandwich is $20 or more.
Food is good.
They have the most delicious prime steak sandwiches I've ever had.
Solid sandwiches and Dutch crutch bread! Great meat to bread ratio, and plenty of fresh veggies! Ordered online was ready ahead of time and was only about $20 for sando (could feed 2), little bag of voodoo chips, and a can of Coke!! Crazy good... Delicious, good value, friendly staff, easy parking! They also have house made salsas, chips, pickled veggies, etc. ready to-go! We will definitely be back and might try their other location in Costa Mesa.
I would give 0 star if I could! Have been to this place on three different occasions now. Meat has always been good. First time bought a few dry aged rib eyes, second time bought 2 filet mignon steaks and the third time I paid over $400 for two Tomahawk steaks. Again, the meat was good, however, the service and appreciation is really bad! Went in there today to buy three 8oz Filet Mignons and they had fresh cut Filets in the bin with chopped Onions and Cilantro piled on the tops, something I do not do with my steaks. I asked them if they could cut me three fresh Filets and they said they just cut these ones and started brushing it all off. I told them I understand you just cut them but they have onions and cilantro on them and it is in the meat now, can you please cut me three fresh ones. They actually told me no. Could not believe it and will never go back here again. Horrible experience especially when you spend this much on a piece of meat. Maybe look for another Butcher that appreciates their customers.
I've been ordering delicious sandwiches from this butcher shop and they are delicious 🥪 😋 waygu pastrami is my favorite. Highly recommended 👌
Very good solid meat I tried some age ribeye and carne asada both very good tasting but pricey.. compare to other locations .
although the online pick up order does not work they were able to accommodate for me and make my order while I was on my limited lunch break. I ate it while speeding back to work and it was worth it, thank you!
Great food, great service 👍
This placed saved my New Years. Got me a prime tenderloin last minute. Was all trimmed and great quality. Prices really good too.
My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while, so we finally gave it a shot. I ordered the Wagyu pastrami, which came with marble rye bread, and my husband got the Wagucci Trio on Dutch crunch bread.
The food was good, but I thought the price was a bit steep for what you get. I guess that’s just the norm these days. Overall, I’m glad we tried it!

Don’t really get the high ratings.
Costco or Sam’s club has a much better selection of meats at a cheaper price. This place charges double what they charge for similar quality.
Service is also not good, owner was not here and one of the employees helped us out. Wasn’t very helpful and had a “whatever” attitude.
If I am about to spend upwards of $100 for a couple pounds of meat, be a little bit more enthusiastic yeah?
May come around again, but meh why would I come here when I could get wagyu at Costco too?
Sandwiches are good, but not worth the price. We're talking upwards of $23 for a single pastrami sandwich. C'mon guys. They do offer Halal meat though which is a big plus.
Amazing fresh high quality wagyu. Patties, sausage, chirizo- they have it all. Victor has the best customer service! Highly recommend
Unreal. Absolutely worth the drive from Burbank. The best pastrami sandwich I’ve had - including places I love in Montreal and Toronto. Really happy to see they have a butchery too, got some marinated chicken and packed pastrami to go.
Parked in this plaza to drop off oil after my boyfriend did an oil change on my truck, and happened to strike upon this tiny pot of gold called “La Carniceria Wagyu”!
It was lunch time and we decided to scope out the place and see what it was about. Upon entering, we were greeted by fresh cuts of meat and a widely enticing array of wagyu sandwich options. I ordered the Roast and my boyfriend got the Prime. We enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches at the park down the street.
Haven’t tried the chips and salsa yet, but I will definitely be coming back here for the halal options, wagyu beef cuts, homemade salsa selection and macaroni salad or potato salad freshly made. They also sell a haven of rubs for you to season your meat at this butcher shop.
Overall great experience and it was nice to meet Victor, a very helpful and friendly butcher!
