This placed saved my New Years. Got me a prime tenderloin last minute. Was all trimmed and great quality. Prices really good too.
My husband has been wanting to try this place for a while, so we finally gave it a shot. I ordered the Wagyu pastrami, which came with marble rye bread, and my husband got the Wagucci Trio on Dutch crunch bread.
The food was good, but I thought the price was a bit steep for what you get. I guess that’s just the norm these days. Overall, I’m glad we tried it!
Don’t really get the high ratings.
Costco or Sam’s club has a much better selection of meats at a cheaper price. This place charges double what they charge for similar quality.
Service is also not good, owner was not here and one of the employees helped us out. Wasn’t very helpful and had a “whatever” attitude.
If I am about to spend upwards of $100 for a couple pounds of meat, be a little bit more enthusiastic yeah?
May come around again, but meh why would I come here when I could get wagyu at Costco too?
Sandwiches are good, but not worth the price. We're talking upwards of $23 for a single pastrami sandwich. C'mon guys. They do offer Halal meat though which is a big plus.
Amazing fresh high quality wagyu. Patties, sausage, chirizo- they have it all. Victor has the best customer service! Highly recommend
Unreal. Absolutely worth the drive from Burbank. The best pastrami sandwich I’ve had - including places I love in Montreal and Toronto. Really happy to see they have a butchery too, got some marinated chicken and packed pastrami to go.
Parked in this plaza to drop off oil after my boyfriend did an oil change on my truck, and happened to strike upon this tiny pot of gold called “La Carniceria Wagyu”!
It was lunch time and we decided to scope out the place and see what it was about. Upon entering, we were greeted by fresh cuts of meat and a widely enticing array of wagyu sandwich options. I ordered the Roast and my boyfriend got the Prime. We enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches at the park down the street.
Haven’t tried the chips and salsa yet, but I will definitely be coming back here for the halal options, wagyu beef cuts, homemade salsa selection and macaroni salad or potato salad freshly made. They also sell a haven of rubs for you to season your meat at this butcher shop.
Overall great experience and it was nice to meet Victor, a very helpful and friendly butcher!
This place is soooo good words can describe it they have halal meat and the sandwiches are so good my kids and me enjoyed it then we went and got some bloba tea.
Burgers are bomb. So are the tacos of course. And try the pastrami, very lean very delicious!
Very good service and food.

Quick summary: great food, I've had almost all their sandwiches and they are all delicious, steak sandwich is my favorite, this is not a place to stop and enjoy food.
This place has amazing, made-to-order sandwiches. I've had almost all of them and they were all exceptional. Jose is particularly nice. I recommend knowing what you want to order before you arrive or order online/over the phone. Just make sure you call in and go to the correct place because they have multiple locations. It usually takes anywhere from 5-15+ minutes to prepare an order depending on the sandwich and the size of the order - and that's if you're the only person there. This is not really a place to stop and eat, there's two tables outside. They also sell wagyu pastrami by the pound which is freaking delicious but I recommend eating within two days or vacuum sealing it after opening.
The first time I came here I was a little confused, you just need to walk to the deli area and observe all their meats until someone comes to help you. They have lots of high quality options including A5 wagyu, wagyu tomahawks, and prime ribeye. There isn't really a line, everyone just kind of knows everyone else's position for service(it's a small location). Sandwiches are all priced to include a canned soda (coke products) and a bag of Zapp's chips which I thought was pretty cool.
Many people misinterpret the attitude of the employees here, namely the main guy. These people need to understand that he's not rude, he's just strictly business and is in go-mode most of the time so he ditches the pleasantries and cuts to the chase. If you frequent the place he will warm up to you somewhat and you'll also see there's other employees there that are all really nice although they aren't as good at making the sandwiches (they're still delicious though). Frankly, if the food is good I don't see a reason to rate a restaurant anything less than 4 stars.
Many thanks to this fine establishment for providing quality food to the city of Brea.
Excellent quality and unique sandwich ingredients. Hot House was a bomb
Best Wagyu Pastrami sandwhich I ever had.
Best Wagyu Pastrami sandwhich I ever had.
Tried to get a pastrami sandwich with another type of bread and was told they couldn't accommodate that. Bummer because everything looks good on their ig.
