The server was excellent - he was helpful in answering the offerings and interacted with us in a very friendly yet courteous manner. The food was well prepared and all 3 of us thought it was delicious. Very nice decor and seating as well

I absolutely LOVE coming here. The service is always top tier and the Santa Fe chicken sandwich never disappoints. It is a bit on the pricey side but is always worth it. The crème brûlée is a nice dessert to get as well.

Bistro Verde does not disappoint! I came here with a friend from out of town and we had a great time as usual. So grateful to have a go to spot to have an unrushed conversation!

Great way to have a fun evening without having to pay a lot. Bingo with Linda is always fun and it's great to see various people win prizes and just a good time. Beats just going to a movie.

I have dined here previously. Interesting menu, food good, interior nice and bright, and service good enough

This is a surprisingly nice restaurant inside Nordstrom's. The server was excellent. We were not rushed but he appeared the moment we needed something. The food was very good. I have had the burger and another time, the fried chicken sandwich. My friends had the salad nicoise which was delicious and filling. For the evening, the cocktails are good as well. The window seating is lovely since until the weather is warm enough for their terrace seating. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, and you won't be tempted by the January sales.

This is a great restaurant! The food is wonderful, the prices are reasonable, the service is welcoming and efficient. We love this restaurant before concerts at Lincoln Center or Carnegie Hall or shows at City Center.

Excellent friendly staff and terrific menu. Plus Bistro Verde is quiet—no obnoxious music blaring, no dreary sounds. Good cocktail menu and happy hour choices.

This is a perfect destination for a respite during a great shopping experience at Nordstom's. This is my neighborhood and I frequently choose to meet friends at the restaurant or for drinks at the bar. The staff is such a group of happy people that it's a pleasure to be in their space. The food is always prepared perfectly and to my particular crazy needs. I love this dinning experience.

Unfriendly service and rude.Read some other reviews and we got the same treatment. Friday December 26 around 3:14. (Older short hair with glasses, typical Karen look) Basically she decided to pick on us on everything with her Karen style rules when other customers were doing the same thing. I definitely wouldn't recommend this mediocre food and lousy service to anyone.

Best menu and service! Our food and drinks were perfect and allowed us to continue and enjoy our shopping without having to go out to eat and come back. It's actually so good and well located I would pop in for a meal even if I weren't shopping there.

Good quality food, quick pleasant service, seems decent value. Didn't get the kids' fruit offered when I asked for cheque, I forgot. Also they only had plastic cups for kids, which we don't want as it's bad for environment. Needed a smaller glass. Clean, bright, spacious. But TOO NOISY! And not music conducive to a relaxing meal. Server agreed to ask about turning down but nothing happened. Would not return for that reason. Shame!

The food was really quite good -- but Bistro Verde has the ambience of a cafeteria. The lights are bright and unshaded; the decor is stark and square. The Wolf (3 floors below) feels like a real restaurant, with a special entrance and warm decor. Bistro Verde feels like they just blocked off part of the selling floor for some tables. We were seated in a booth by the window -- but it was next to a service passageway. During our dinner, workers trundled by with crates of ice and kitchen supplies. A few feet away, servers held private conversations we could hear. At times, there was Christmas music blaring loudly; at other times, silence. It was odd that the dessert menu could be accessed only with a QR code; our server recited it for us, and there were only three items. Is that too much to print??? It's a pity, really; we enjoyed the food very much. The lobster bisque and the tomato soup were well made; the pappardelle Bolognese had a first-rate sauce. But the atmosphere made it hard to enjoy the experience. We will go back to The Wolf, but we'll be skipping Bistro Verde.
