Says it closes at 8pm. I arrived at 7:39 and they literally closed when they seen me arrive.
I have recently grown to really like poke and I've been testing out places around the Fullerton-Placentia area. PokeCo and Pokeworks are both really good, but they are decently pricey. This place offers essentially the same options but at 3-4 dollars less, which is a lot for a simple lunch food! The Poke I got was tasty with sizable portions. The young lady that served me (I wish I would've asked for her name, but she had a few tattoos, maybe latina, with honey blonde hair and spoke in a sweet soft voice) was super helpful about picking my options. I've been wanting to come here for awhile because I love poke and supporting small businesses, and I can astutely say I'll come back here over other options. More people should come here, it deserves the love!

Not a full scoop of everything. Very disappointing. Lady did not wear gloves, scratches her head the covered the sushi using same hand she used for scratching her head. 🤢

The sushi is not cold, like I'm used to. They have the smallest scoops to serve their proteins and the crab is very fishy smelling. There is a very small selection of sides to add. I had 4 shaved slices of cucumbers. The fresherst item was the eddemame. You should go to Poke Tiki on Main in Orange and get some tips. I paid pir for a large and got less than a medium compared to several other poke stores from San Bernardino to OC

Probably some of the worst tasting poke I've had, terrible rice, salmon tasted off, lacks variety for toppings. Take the extra few minutes and drive to a different poke spot

I have tried to come to this place two separate times and both times they closed before the hours posted. This last time I happened to catch an employee as they were leaving and all the said was it was dead today. I’m done try to go here can’t wait for a new business move in.

I'm sorry, but this place has really gone downhill since re-naming as 'Grindz.' To give some examples; this place used to be 'Oke Poke.' It was decent at that time. But since their re-name, I found their poke bowls problematic for several reasons. 1. They were rather stingy with the fish portions. This is most apparent when you order the 1 protein small poke bowl. Literally, they don't even give you a full scoop of fish, it's like a half scoop and like 3 or 4 small pieces of fish at most. 2. The fish available for poke did not seem very fresh. When I stopped by to order my food for dinner, it was around 6pm, and when I saw the fish that was available, it looked old, slimey, and discolored, almost like it was leftover from the day before or older. 3. When I was asking for the veggie toppings to go on the poke bowl, not only was the server extremely stingy with the protein, she was also very stingy with the veggie portions too. I asked for the bean/soybean sprouts, and she only put two pieces on there, same for the onions, she only put two specks of onion and I had to ask at least twice for bigger portions. 4. The cherry on top is the payment kiosk asking for a tip. I'm sorry, but faced with this miserly service mentioned above, what the heck am I obligated to tip for? For getting less food and portions than when this place was operating as Oke Poke? When it was Oke, they didn't have these problems with stingy portions for the fish AND veggies/toppings, and at that time, I would tip a little because it felt deserved. Definitely not anymore. In fact, there's much better poke to be had elsewhere, even from the deli section from Asian supermarkets. Grindz is a no-go for me. Oke Poke was better, but that's no longer what this location is.

I have been going here for years and sadly watching it go down hill. The iced tea machine has been out of order of 3 years, the green tea machine doesn’t work, half the time they don’t have avocado (they are out but they are literally next door to a grocery store- go buy some!) and last time I was in they were out of the Thai sauce. What’s next? They are out of fish ??
The fish was not fresh at all!

My order was not prepared at all how I ordered it online. The wrong fish, sauce and toppings were used. Also very expensive for the little amount of protein and rice. Will not be returning.

Really mediocre, literally hit or miss when it comes to it being good or not. But when it is good….it’s pretty good and worth the price.
