We’ve been going for a couple years and always get the capsteak, which is the best steak on the planet and they always deliver!!! It’s simply sublime! Last night, however, when they brought our capsteak, it was definitely not the usual cut we’re used to; it was 2 1/2” thick and stringy. We’ve become somewhat experts on Spinalis steak and from experience, this was not a capsteak. We brought it up to the attention of our server and they had no idea.
I’d like to give them the benefit of the doubt, but to be honest, we feel slightly cheated.

Went there with a few friends a couple days ago for the first time and ordered the lava cake and was delicious the first time around. Decided to go again but placed the order to-go since friends and I were passing by. When we received our order ALL OF OUR DESSERTS came out cold. Called in to fix the wrong that THEY DID but they called us liars and said a refund was not on the table when all we wanted was a resolution to the mistake not a refund. Even after left a tip for a $20 dessert that was to-go. For a restaurant charging an arm and a leg for mediocre meals and overpriced drinks, took the entire parking lot that was public and turned into a valet only paid parking the team in charge of correcting the wrong THAT THEY DID are EXTREMELY unprofessional. I'd recommend Yard House or even the place directly across the hall for a much much better service. Don't waste your time at this location.

This has to be the FINEST restaurant in the OC! From start to finish, the standards for quality of food, service, specialty drinks and the ambience are 10+++ We enjoyed the Bransino fish along with the 10 oz. Filet Mignon and sautéed spinach, loaded baked potato (Had to do it!), then poke and their scallops crudo is a MUST! Great experience from beginning to end!

I grabbed dinner at Old Brea Chophouse with a couple folks I work with. I had a steak, which was outstanding and we shared a couple of very good appetizers. The service was very good and the atmosphere was typical of an upscale steak house. Strongly recommend.

Amazing food and incredible service. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We went for dinner for my daughter’s birthday. First I had the most amazing baked potato for dinner. I barely touched my entree, which. Was the Mary’s chicken and it was delish too. It came with roasted potatoes. I can’t wait to go back. The server Jackie recommended the warm butter cake for dessert. Don’t leave without ordering it. It’s life changing. Parking is the only issue. Weekends I could see being a nightmare. It does share parking with quite a few restaurants and the Improv. .

Food wasn’t as good as I expected. Unfortunately, this is the only [Rasy] restaurant near me, so it looks like I’ll be in a committed relationship with disappointment for at least five more visits. At this point, it’s less “fine dining” and more “Stockholm syndrome with chopsticks.”

The atmosphere was pleasant, but my wife and I were very disappointed with the food and service. The $25 salad was bland and lacked freshness, and the $40 rib did not taste fresh either. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy, we still waited nearly 30 minutes after placing our order. I would not return.

BBQ shrimp It’s a must order item. Make sure you eat the shrimp with 3 bites. W/Wo bread is fine. They are amazing. Must order. Then try to be creative with the source with anything.

The steaks were phenomenal, cooked perfectly, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take their craft seriously here. The sides? Just as memorable. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, not just thrown on the plate.
The service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. It felt like they genuinely cared that we had a great experience.

My first time at Old Brea Chop House.. I can't belive they have been open for 5 years already and I never been there .. This place is bump ✨️ 👌... Ambiance is great and life with this staff and managment all over with their guests Ms Shayen wonderful managment checks on every one even the Big Boss Tony everywhere talking to his guests make you feel family and easy to talk to this man. Staff friendly are very well Trained and natural dealing with guests , very knowledgeable with the menu and the foods .. Foods the best & delicious food everything we ordered Scallops was fresh and delicious Mu Branzino excellent fresh, Ribeyes steak cooked perfect side dishes high quality and chocolate Cake was really nice. Will he back so often. I love high-end restaurant and old brea Chop House is up there.

If you are looking for a special occasion spot in Northern Orange County, look no further. We had cocktails, appetizers, salads, steaks, seafood, sides, and desert. There was not a single dish that disappointed. Service was spectacular. They go out of their way to make you feel like you are the most important customer in the room.
