Shady Nook has undergone a transformation under its new owner, focusing on details and enhancing the atmosphere. It is a friendly local bar and the only one in the city of Brea, established in 1980. The bar features great servers, making it an ideal spot to catch hockey and baseball games. With a wide selection of drinks, including $3 beers, it’s a great place to grab a drink before or after dinner. The bartender is friendly, and there are awesome pool tables and dart boards in great condition. Customers can enjoy free pool on Sundays and complimentary popcorn. Although the bar does not serve food, meals can be delivered from adjacent Italian and Mexican restaurants. The new setup has been well received, even though some customers noted it could get rather loud and warm when busy.
