Easily one of the worst Japanese places I’ve ever been to. I’m convinced people are only here because everywhere closes early (we came at 8:30 pm) and the good reviews are from their friends.

First, it’s very clear that this is a new establishment because we did not have any silverware, napkins or plates at the table, and they plopped down our food without giving us any. When we flagged them down for some, they just said “oh” and went to get some without apologizing.

Second, nothing tastes good. The shrimp tempura tasted like it had been pre-frozen and reheated (batter was not light and crispy). The tuna cut roll had a comically large amount of stale old rice (tasted like they’d left the rice uncovered in the fridge for 3 days). The uni pasta lacked any sort of flavor besides a hint of pepper; there was no salt, no briny taste, nothing. If you want a good uni pasta, head to Jinbei.

If this place doesn’t pick up their game, I don’t see them lasting very long.

Sushi was ok, sloppy put together by what seemed like a first time sushi chef, uni pasta was god awful. The fish was fresh at least but the rice seemed old. Won't be back anytime soon.

Came here on a Sunday, admittedly close to closing, but was turned away at 2:30 and was told the kitchen had already closed…

My party and another party who had just walked in were turned away. If the kitchen closes at 2:30, I’d recommend they update their hours accordingly to avoid a wasted trek out to dine.

Had been here once prior and enjoyed the food.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here and had a wonderful experience. We sat at the bar, and the chef went out of his way to make the dinner feel special. Highly recommend this spot for its cozy, intimate seating and atmosphere, excellent service, and top quality sushi.

I came here with my family and it was so nice . We got yuzu.matcha drink with alcohol 🍸 which was yummy. I also got Sapporo beer which was refreshing. But the winner was the fine Thang roll with chives scallion inside . I also enjoyed the garlic noodles with uni pasta. The dish that was most memorable was the trust me sushi platter with 20 pieces. The platter was not only beautiful but it was so fresh. I also loved the blue crab uni rice bowl!! I also ordered wagyu 5 on a hot sizzling pan which was the softest meat I ever tried !! The staff was so friendly and I would definitely come back to try their other appetizers and sushi 🍣. Shisito peppers were also savory and not spicy at all!!! Love this new restaurant and the interior was calming and serene inside!! Also loved their tiramisu and matcha cheesecake 😋 😍

I’ve been here a few times now. Each time I’m blown away about how fresh the sashimi is. My wife is Japanese and she vouches for their quality and freshness of their seafood. Also their fish to rice proportion for the sushi is perfect. They also have some modern favorites like uni pasta and wagyu garlic noodles. Service is friendly and attentive. Definitely our new favorite sushi spot for date night!
