Made a reservation for Valentine's Day. I picked this restaurant because my wife and I had never been there plus the website said nothing about a specific Valentine's Day menu and we were excited to try the food that we saw on the menu. We get there a few minutes before our reservation time, and we're told the kitchen is very backed up, the hostess seemed very stressed, had to ask me my name four times and then they sit us at a small table for someone who's disabled. We did get moved to a booth but then were shown that they had a Valentine's Day menu and could order nothing else. It was $150. At first that seemed OK but when we got the portions, they were so tiny that we couldn't believe we were paying $150 for what we got. They overcooked my steak had to send it back. Chicken was dry and so was the butter cake. To top it off they automatically added gratuity, which I actually cannot stand and don't see how restaurants can actually do that. Gratuity is based on service, not an automatic portion of the bill. The regular the menu might be great, but sadly, we will never go back. I'm tempted to call and ask for my money back because it was not worth it at all. They did give us $30 off the bill which was $200. I told the manager on the way out that we did not enjoy our experience at all and then asked him why they didn't notify patrons on their website that they had a special Valentine's Day menu. He said that they put that on Instagram. I told him well I don't have Instagram. And it was so late by the time we ate dinner, almost 10 o'clock that we either ate there or didn't eat at all. Very disappointed. If I were the manager of that place in my customer told me about that experience. The meal would've been on the house. Not trying to get a handout. It's just the right thing to do.
The food was very good. Excellent cocktails but the service was a bit slow considering it wasn't very crowded when we were there. It got very busy later though. Limited menu as it was New Years Eve. Very nice restaurant decor, colorful with very nice images throughout. Friendly staff. I am definitely going back and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Tempo Geisha is where Taps used to be and a lot of the decor is similar but they've added beautiful murals throughout the restaurant. It was our first time and the food was mediocre at best. We had the ribeye steak, steak tacos and ceviche rolls. The ceviche roll was the best one and everything else was just ok. The waiter also mentioned they will be simplifying the menu for this year, just FYI. Overall, it was okay but we won't be returning.
The restaurant is good, but not for large groups. We had our small business's Christmas lunch there but it took over two hours to get our food. We had 3 children with our large party that were under 3 years old and when served their drinks, they were given them in normal glasses, which was asking for a mess! We had to instruct the waiters to serve the little kids cups with lids... the food when it finally arrived was cold, served to the wrong people and by then the kids were losing their minds. Yes this restaurant is not designed with kids in mind, but no one should have to wait 2 hours for their food. Period.
My first time going to this place. I had been there before, but this one is heavily promoted and it wasn't what I expected at all; it didn't match my expectations.
We had a wonderful time - I love the different takes on traditional Mexican as well as the Japanese offerings. We plan on going again to try something different.
Party of seven for a birthday lunch. Everybody enjoyed their food, but vegan options were limited, (I didn't realize that when I made the reservation,) but this is where the birthday boy wanted to go. Reservation was for 2 PM on Saturday. Was told the sushi bar doesn't open until 3 PM. Both brunch and regular menu available, except sushi. I ordered the House salad and got a Caesar. Ordered a peach iced tea and got regular. Wasn't in the mood to make a fuss so just ate it.
vibe is fun, food is no good, cocktail is average. I would recommend only coming for some sort of happy hours to enjoy the fun

Saw recent reviews on Open Table which weren't that great but I also looked on Yelp and they had high ratings so we gave it a shot. Unfortunately, I would have to agree with the Open Table reviews as they're more accurate. Made a reservation for 3 but only had a setting for two. Wrong menus were provided. My friend's drink/food order came out wrong but was corrected. It would be nice if the food order comes out at the same time as well. The drinks were watered down so overall I would have to pass.
The food it's no correct we need to wait for long time the service no good no experience I don't like that

Heidi was our server and she was great!!! The sushi/sashimi wasn't great. They had ran out of sashimi and substituted it for Tuna. We also ordered carnitas that fell off the bone which was our favorite dish. The drinks were weak so I had to order two extra shots. The ambience was loud which was expected for a World Series game day.
Food was good, a little overpriced. We had to ask for kids menu and california rolls because theyre not on the menu. Terrible service compared to the big table next to us ordering drinks and tons of appetizers, I guess our waitress thought we weren't worth the effort (me, wife and 7 year old son and we ordered no alcohol), so I tipped accordingly. Only go here if your with a big group, plan on ordering tons of drinks, dressing like your going to LA clubs and dont mind pretentious people serving you.

We loved our dinner here! Service was outstanding! Their new guava mezcal cocktail was so delicious. The food was superb. We ordered steak fajitas (not pictured), carnitas, queso fundido with chorizo, and a delicious butter cake with ice cream. We are very happy we came here. Will be back.

I really wanted to love this location. The drinks are still amazing, but the food and overall vibe feel different, it's much more family-oriented than the original Tempo. The space itself is beautiful, but it just doesn't have the same energy we loved about the original. Also, $16 for a Butter cake dessert feels way overpriced, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be coming back.
Josue Corona was a great server! Attentive and friendly! We celebrated my friend’s birthday and he made the experience better.
