Today I went to the food court @ Brea mall , went to Wetzel’s Pretzels purchased a cinful cinnamon pretzel, pepperoni pizza pretzel, regular strawberry lemonade, jalapeño cheese dipping sauce , & sweet glaze dipping sauce , unfortunately they were out of sweet glaze dipping sauce so nice associate informed me & gave me caramel dipping sauce for my cinful cinnamon pretzel I rarely eat pretzels in general today was a nice treat. I had a very unpleasant and humiliating experience at Wetzel’s Pretzels in Brea Mall on November 1, 2025, around 5:24 PM. I visited the store with my two sons. I’m not fluent in English, but I can communicate basic things clearly.
When I ordered a Mango Fresh Boba Lemonade, the cashier kept asking me what I wanted — more than five times — even though I clearly repeated the same words each time. It felt like she was pretending not to understand me. Then she entered the wrong item, and when I corrected her, she asked the same question again without explaining that the Mango Fresh Boba Lemonade only comes in one size.
What hurt me the most was what happened afterward. While I was using Google Translate to explain to the manager, I saw two employees (a woman and a man) laughing and mocking me as I typed. That was extremely humiliating, especially in front of my children.
I left the store feeling disrespected and discriminated against because of my race and limited English. No customer should ever be treated this way.
I hope Wetzel’s Pretzels takes this seriously and provides proper training to their employees so that no one else has to go through such an experience again.

I don’t know why but today I felt insecure at Breas mall , atmosphere is changing, anyway I got some pretzels and cinnamons bites omg horrible both like plastic was 👎🏼 7:09 pm 3/21/25 I saw the guy was baking new ones wonder for how long they have mine under the light 💡, never again🤷🏻♀️

It was so expensive. I got the hotdog bites, I little thing of cheese sauce and a large cup of ice water and it was over $17. I was shocked. My daughter and I love the pretzels 🥨 But they are so expensive.

My husband and I were helped by a gentleman named LENNY he had ABOVE and BEYOND customer service, attentive, and super helpful. People like him are rare to find nowadays To the manger this gentlemen deserves to be promoted.thanks Lenny! ^.^

I was assisted by a gentleman (I believe his name is Omar from what I heard him say) this past weekend and he was super nice and greeted me with a smile. I asked him for a recommendation and he recommended the pizza pretzel which was so good. Thank you for your professionalism and recommendation! ?

They charged me over $10 dollars for 2 regular drinks and then refused to give me a refill, poor costumer service as well.

If I could give them a 0 stars I would. I come to Brea mall a lot and every time I’ve come they never have ANY items of the mini meals. Last time some lady cut the line and the associates saw her do this and still just helped her. They’re just so unorganized and under stocked.

Came here today since I was craving pretzel. I waited around 15minutes JUST to receive a pretzel was very BURNT on the bottom. It was nearly black and tasted like charcoal and I nearly spit it out. I believe the persons name who helped me was ALEX or something along the lines of that since I overhead the other workers calling him that. I was in a rush so I had no desire to wait another 15 minutes or get a refund.. very disappointed:( Will not be returning to this location.. I will wait for the new one to open up downstairs:/ *picture included below of new location:)*

I arrived 40 minutes before closing, and requested an order for a jalapeño/pepperoni pretzel and the employees refused to make it claiming they were not making them anymore. However just as they said that I witnessed the employees making one in the process and asked why they were making that one but not mine and they said it was “for an order”, sadly they denied me but made one for another customer. It was a humiliating experience and I hope the company as a whole does not discriminate. I asked for their names and they refused to give me them until I threaten to call corporate. If corporate is reading this please please train your employees Daisy and Ashley to treat every customer the same I simply worked hard all week and came on my day off for my favorite snack yet I was denied it’s very sad that cruel people like that exist who discriminate.
