Great spot, pretty much had the place to ourselves. Food was very good. We were able to enjoy the view as we ate. We also enjoyed the pool table and shuffle board.

First time in my and my family life we are here in San Francisco! After we landed we visited this place ( outside we were a bit suspicious it's not open ) but! Been open so we went in and we had a great welcome by the staff. Ordered a food and drink and both were quick and tasty ? ( never tried the buffalo sauce - got a bit examples first). The place has a pool table and shuffle board ( if I'm not mistaken) - both games were great with my son! We will be back here for sure!

In real time I bought food at this restaurant today. I came in with a coworker, who had a small soup from another restaurant down the street. I ordered thier honey chicken burger and a la Croix. While waiting for my order she drank her soup. I sat at the door and my order came in 10 minutes she had finished her soup. I shared my French fries with her. They told me I to leave that we can't eat other people food in their restaurant but we were eating their food. Bought to his attention the food was from said restaurant. I was racially profiled. I know that if I wasn't black I would not be treated this terrible.!!!
My coworker and I went there for lunch, I bought a soup from Specialty sat there had my soup, as my co worker ordered her burger, as we waited, she got her food, not even 5 minutes go by and manager, a man came to us to leave, kick us out. I feel he was extremely racist against my co worker. That was unacceptable.
Food was very good and the service is good. Super friendly staff. View is serene and beautifully decorated. Only open during the week. Happy hour is wed and Thurs 3 to 7. Outside seating is very nice and they have fire pits and heaters. Grow their own lettuce and herbs and peppers.

Great happy hour spot. Simple (no table service) but really welcoming with good food, cocktails, and beer. Order your drinks and food. Take your drinks and a number to the table and enjoy the view. Food comes to the table really fast.

Been coming here when they've opened and the service has always been excellent. Food and drinks rotates out once in awhile. Nice place to unwind after work since it's so close by.

I found a piece of metal wire in my salad is probably the stuff used to tie all the vegetables together and I’m not sure how it got into the food so please be careful and educate your staff.

A group of us that work around SSF get together and bounce to different restaurants around the office campus’. There are some decent ones and a couple gems that we love to go to regularly. We decided to try a new one called the Chandlery, which is a little further out. It is by far, with no exaggeration, the worst one we’ve been to. Slowest service, rude bartender, oblivious manager. No one cares here. This was surprising as I’ve never been met with this bad of a service around here and it wasn’t busy. We ended up just taking our food to go. While the girl delivered us our food she rolled her eyes as if we were the problem. I can see why this place was pretty much empty when we got here. We won’t be coming back any time soon and will happily spread the word to let others know to avoid this location.

If there is ever a place to host going away happy hours for VP-level biotech execs, then Chandlery at the Shore is the place to do it. They might as well have written the book on it. I hosted a going away happy hour here for my VP. He was pleased as it was just as he had asked - low-key, yet classy. The thirty guests were pleased since it had what they were promised - a wide array of expertly crafted American fare and drinks to please even the most challenging palate. I was pleased as it was exactly how I'd imagined it - a large open space for all of us to reminisce about the good times at work, to share in the memories of current and past coworkers, and to garner final thoughts on surviving biotech from someone who'd done it all. Chandlery at the Shore made a night happen that I'll not soon forget. I doubt anyone would. Though I will ask, if it has our endorsement, well, why doesn't it have yours?
