I've dined in before and had a decent experience, but I ordered takeout today. I ordered Ja Jiang Mein which was described as a stir fry noodle with vegetable medley. I received separately cooked plain noodles, some spoonfuls of sauce on top (not mixed in), and some sliced raw cucumber on top. Not exactly what I wanted. Feels like a waste of $14.

As a weekly customer, I always enjoy my meal and the comfort of dining in solo. Today, I went in for my usual meal, o sweet and sour chicken with chow mein lunch meal and veggie spring rolls. The lady that helped me and took my order was not my usual person. But she skipped my soup, took a long time to serve me water and when I received my meal, I noticed that I didn’t actually get chicken pieces but more so crispy pieces of coated flour in sauce in my meal. Picture below for reference. I don’t like doing bad reviews and normally I don’t. But once I went up to pay and signed my card receipt, that same lady said did you leave a cash tip because you didn’t sign it on the receipt. So can you fill out the tip portion of it. I felt obligated to leave a tip. Which I was not happy about since I was served the way I was. I am normally good tipper 4-6$ on a 16-20$ meal. Today was a disappointment.

Best Chinese food ever! We have been to dozens of Chinese restaurants (even in San Francisco Chinatown) and none of them compare to this one. We ordered the General Tso’s chicken and the String Bean Chicken dishes. The General Tso’s was crispy but not overcooked with a delicious glaze. The sauce on the String Bean dish was amazing!

Old school neighborhood Chinese restaurant!The place was empty when we arrived. We were seated promptly. That was the end of the promptness. The waitress showed up eventually and returned a while later to take our order. The food plates came out gradually. We were in no hurry so it was all good for us. Everything was very good. I thought we had bought too much food. But we ate all of it.The building is an old school 1940's? Ish place on the foothills of the inside of the bowl that forms Brisbane. Up slightly from the town below there are large windows with loads of natural light that look out to the small town.I am very sensitive to msg and the staff assured me they add none to their dishes. Indeed I ate hot and sour soup, broccoli beef and other plates that escape me with no problems.If you are nearby I strongly suggest a stop in at NaNa's. She ain't in a rush and neither should you be.

If your wife works in a random area like mine, try Na Na’s Kitchen. This hidden gem has an array of food options you’ll enjoy. We are fans of white rice, string beans, and lemon chicken. Something about the lemon chicken is so good. Must try. Great space, wait staff are nice and they remember you.
