Asian restaurant located in the Cache Creek Casino. It can get busy during the weekends and it helps to make a reservation. Service is ok, depends who your server is. Food is also just ok, we get a variety of things depending on if we want bangus, eggplant, fried rice, walnut shrimp, soup, or noodles. They take comps so it’s bang for your buck. Or you can also order to go.

Like many reviews I agree i have never experienced such bad flavor less food. Horrible quality and no taste. We had to return an item because it smelled and tasted like burnt tire. Never going back.

We were told the wait was one hour, left our number. An hour and 15 min passes by, no text. We go check at the front, the same girl who added us to the wait list seemed confused, she clearly forgot about us. We wait 10 more minutes, eventually we are placed in a back room that resembled more of a storage area, at a 7 person table, while it was only 2 of us. Plenty of trash on the floor: napkins, wrappers and other debris. Finally the servers come, menus and utensils are not even placed in front of us, but rather thrown at the edge of the giant table so we had to get up in order to reach for them. Food was submediocre. The hot and sour soup was the only acceptable item. Spring rolls were a joke. No veggies inside, only dough. The sweet and sour chicken was ok. Honey shrimp had a funny taste, we did not eat it.

We went to this place about a year ago, and things were ok, that's why we decided to wait more than an hour this time, but clearly something happened since our last visit.

Not sure if the Mongolian beef recipe had changed but it had like zero sauce. Usually it’s rich and dark in color but this time it was bland and not worth 24 bucks.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday here today. The food was delicious. And all the staff were helpful and friendly. It was great to have the private dining room.

I have been a loyal customer of Chang Shou Restaurant for as long as I can remember, dating back to when it was just a small casino spot. My husband and I have enjoyed countless lunches and dinners here over the years, making it one of our go-to dining spots.

Lately, I’ve been particularly fond of the clay pot chicken bowl, and on a previous visit, a waitress kindly offered me the option of boneless chicken instead of bone-in. I agreed, and it was perfectly prepared. Since then, I have continued to order it this way several times a month without any issues—until my most recent visit.

This past weekend, my husband and I went in for lunch, expecting our usual enjoyable meal. However, we were immediately met with an unpleasant experience. The manager approached our table and bluntly told me that they “do not take special orders” like the one I had requested. Fortunately, I had sent a picture of my meal to my sister in the past, showcasing how it had been prepared for me multiple times before. When I showed the manager this picture, her response was shocking—she stated that “someone would be in trouble” for having made my meal that way before. However, she reluctantly agreed to honor my request “this time.”

When my meal arrived, the quality was noticeably poor. The dish lacked the rich, flavorful gravy that usually enhances the meal, and the overall portion was disappointing. Worse still, I had ordered one to-go, and when I got home, I discovered that it was less than half the usual portion, again with barely any gravy.

This entire experience was disheartening. Instead of valuing a long-time customer’s loyalty, the restaurant dismissed my concerns and delivered subpar food. It’s incredibly disappointing to see a once-favorite restaurant decline in both service and quality. I hope they reconsider how they treat their customers because experiences like this leave a lasting negative impression.

Overpriced. Very bland. Will not return. Please avoid.

I've never had Chinese food that had 0 flavor until I visited this location.

It feels like everything was boiled with no seasoning and the dough is nice and raw for you.

My regret was ordering so much out of excitement. Didn't want to take it home and punish myself later.

Please cook your food better I beg you.
