We were happy that the buffet at Cache Creek Casino Resort finally reopened. It’s now called “Buffet at Harvest Dining Hall” instead of the “Harvest Buffet”. In the pre-pandemic days, we use to come to Cache Creek specifically for the buffet. However, we were shocked that the price had almost doubled (from the pre-pandemic price) and that the number of food selections had gone down. In fact, the entire buffet was not even open. Lunch is now $27.00 for adults and dinner is $40.00. You can use points earned on your club card to reduce the price, but there is no longer a discount for just being a club member and there is no discount for seniors. The buffet is open Friday – Sunday only. We were there on Sunday for lunch ($27.00 each), but only about 2/3 of the original buffet was open. They did have some breakfast items (my favorite) on the lunch menu (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potatoes), but no omelet station, pancakes, waffles, or french toast like before. There were fewer salad and vegetable selections than in the past and a couple of our favorites were also missing – potstickers and sweet & sour soup. Overall, the food was good and the service was very good. But I don’t know if it’s worth the price. The Cache Creek buffet used to have a good food selection and was reasonably priced. Now it’s almost as much as a Las Vegas buffet, but without the large food selection that Las Vegas buffets offer. If management is going to increase the price of the buffet significantly, then the size of the buffet, the number of food selections, and the quality of the food selections need to increase comparatively; otherwise, people will go elsewhere.
It’s not a buffet anymore. It’s like a sit and order restaurant though you order your entree when you enter and pay. Probably a good idea to decide ahead of time what you would like. Different. Your choices are 12 oz Rib eye, 8 oz NY Steak, Chicken, Salmon or Mongolian BBQ. All meals come with mashed potatoes/gravy and green beans. Don’t know if you can substitute for fries or baked potato. You can have all the salad, soup or dessert you want as it is self serve. The waitress/waiter will ask you when you are ready for your meal and bring it to your table. I found it to be unusual at first. I don’t think the buffet is coming back soon. I expect a renovation and possibly a food court of sorts. Service was quick. Prime rib was huge and looked very delicious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. NY Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Mongolian BBQ looked excellent and plentiful ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. With the high ceiling it is difficult to create a “private” space to enjoy your meal but I guess something needed to be done to utilize this space. I think it was worth the price and will definitely return to try the prime rib next.
Pretty decent food. It was a Monday night. It wasn’t as busy/crowded as I had expected. It was a group of 15 of us. So we got seated pretty quick. Best part, it didn’t cost us anything. We each got $25 just to sign up as new members each and the buffet cost $16/person. It was an enjoyable experience.
Way tooo many choices. All the foods pretty good. Attentive service. Reasonable price for the quality and variety.
Great Choices of Different types of themes by culture in food, and Deserts. Very popular place on the weekends.
What can I say. Like any other buffet one would go to. Food is not bad, but nothing special. Service is just o.k.

You cant beat the buffet price on a thursday..lots of selections & all fresh. We came for dinner about 5pm on a thursday. $15.99 for card holders. Will definitely come back on a Thursday. Excellent service
We went to sit down, and got a chance to talk to the Manager and what a great person to get to talk to. Our group of five all agreed he is the one that keeps this buffet to the quality it is. Again thank you so much for making are stay a very comfortable one. The food was wonderful and the Prime was outstanding.
This buffet has a good variety but everything tasted old or like it had been sitting out too long. Vegas buffets are much better. They gave us this because it was our first time at casino which was nice
The first thing you see when you enter is the desserts with a wide assortment of pies and treats! The salad section is very expanse with even crab pieces and baby shrimp to add to your custom salad. There is a meat carving station and an Italian section with pizzas and even garlic bread. The Chinese food section is very limited but delicious nonetheless. I recommend visiting the buffet at least once.
I love coming to this restaurant, they have a large selection of good food and always consistent. Friendly staffs, with special mention of our server, Rodolfo. Didn't have a chance to get the pictures but take it from me, you will never get tired of their food. I love the selections of Italian dishes and the desserts are to die for, especially the bread pudding. We'll be back when we get the chance to see another concert.
