Not many options to choose from. Staff didn't know how to organize nor have much option for the body scrub. Needs more sales , clearance options. When complain they immediately replaced staff for comfort. I wasn't there long.
Great stay at Cache. My host, Edgardo and all the staff I met provided me with an excellent customer service, very friendly and accommodating. My wife is so impressed and she works at MGM Casino in Vegas. Restaurants much better than other hotels in Vegas too!
The hotel rates are outrageous. I attending a wedding this month (Oct 21) and they want $596.00 a night. Are you kidding me? I've stayed here and the rooms are nowhere near that much money. I don't understand rates like this for a non-luxury hotel in the middle of nowhere. I can get a beautiful hotel room (with a well-known name) on the beach for less than that. Now I have to travel the terrible road at night after the wedding. I was looking forward to the night and not driving but a few miles back to the hotel. Well, that's not going to happen. I've been to this Casino a handful of times but never won- ever, the food was average at best., and drinks were expensive. Why would anyone travel the dangerous highway for this? So disappointed in the change of this place. It is like they are adding to the dangerous situation on the highway. Hosting concerts on the weekends, and expecting guest to pay $600.00 or chance their luck on Hwy 16. Unacceptable greed.
We went on a girls quick overnight. Check in was easy. Room was large and clean. Food was great. Spa was amazing. Both pools were very nice with lots of lounge chairs. Full bar and food available. Will definitely return.Resort was clean and staff was very friendly.
NOTE: No matter how much you spend or how often you play, they refuse to move your tier status. Why is that important? Well, I’ve been there twice this month—first times there. Had planned to make it my regular casino. Met the points requirement to move tiers, which gets you things like discounts at the shops. Tried to get a thermos with my discount. I don’t have one, despite all I spent, because I had a “welcome” card. So I went to the players’ club staff and asked for a card that reflected my play. Nope! Not until the next QUARTER. For no rational reason, they only move tiers for their players every 4 months. So even though I met that threshold in two visits, I could not receive the associated benefits until APRIL. Ok…..so I’ll avoid the casino until April. It’s mid-February. Great business choice, Cache Creek. Abysmal customer service.
In March, I bought tickets for my wife, I and another couple to see comedian Amy Schumer. I then went to reserve rooms for us and was told that room reservations are not available more than 60 days in advance. So, I marked the date in my calendar and called back in early August. We were in total shock that Cache Creek could then say the beginning room rate was $1, 100 each. This was extortion in our minds. Fortunately, Cache Creek responded to my angry email and refunded our money for both the tickets and fees.
They have the slot machines set up so badly, it's gotten pathetic. This used to be a fun place and you would hear people win often, and we would win often. Now, you can blow through $1000 in less than 2 hrs quickly and never hit nothing. And I'm talking you don't even win your bet back on 100 straight spins. Out of $1000 you'll get $5 in rewards which is just pitiful. If these places are supposed to be regulated, this one can't be. We've been going now for 9 months about once or twice a month since Nov 2021 and never won anything. Not even walk out the door even once. And we don't bet crazy. I guess the players have to pay for the hotel, golf course, and everything else by them taking in millions off the slot machines. The rewards you get are pitiful based on how much you dump into the machines. Can't wait until they open the new casino near Fairfield..shorter drive and hopefully better game play.
Okay! Where do I start? My wife and I came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food: c2 restaurant- must have reservation although on website it says reservations preferred not required - false advertisement! They wouldn’t even let us wait…. Same with their Chinese restaurant reservations required… we ended up eating Thai curry chicken at the fast food place within the casino……. I have never tasted Asian food so freaking blend….. even Panda Express tastes 100 times better…. What’s next ? The air quality it’s all smoke, everyone is smoking like it’s 1970s and I doubt hotel filters get changed….. horrible experience. I have asthma so I like fresh air and sleep with a window open at home, the hotel windows are locked and you can’t open them forcing you to sniff circulated air 24/7…. Alcohol - paid $12 for reposado tequila based margarita - I got more ice in the glass than alcohol….. we paid $347 for a night which is crazy!!!! You can stay in all inclusive resort in Mexico for cheaper than that!! this is unacceptable, we won’t ever come to this place again.
So my fiancée and I wanted to find a casino closer to home than Tahoe/Reno areas to build up some credits for perks and rooms. We like to go gaming about once a month or so for fun. First of all, I love that it takes me less than two hours to get here from home. And secondly, the casino is really nice looking inside. Also the slot machines aren’t too tight and certain areas are looser than others. The table games are fine , but there are some crusty players you want to avoid unfortunately. I really like the food options and enjoyed what we ate. I wish they served drinks on the floor but the middle bar is pretty good at serving you if it isn’t super busy. We have been back twice now and will be headed back tomorrow for the night. The people that work there are ok - so far so good.
Cache used to be a fun escape. But now they just want money. Their machines seem to so tight! And they seldom give food comps. I did a not favorable comment in their Instagram page, they erased and blocked me right away. They only show the good comments. That is dishonesty! Just go to other casino like Graton. Graton would give you free 2 packs of cigarette every visit, plus at least $150 food comp, no questions asked. Unlike in Cache Creek, you would be like begging for food comp, even if you lost like 10 grand already. Don't go to Cache creek to gamble. Just to go other casinos.

Beware this place is terrible the security is ridiculous and unprofessional. We called and let them know that we will be bringing our service dog and they told us it was fine.We went there Saturday night went through security were treated very nicely with our pet and then harassed the next day and kicked out. Hands-down the worst customer service I have ever seen and I work in hospitality beware stay away from this place. Not only do the dealers change out every time you are winning Lots of money. Restaurants are really good pool is nice but the management staff put a bad taste in my mouth I will never return there again. I can’t believe that we stayed there for one night and then they had the audacity to kick us out with my eight-year-old son while we were walking to the pool because of our dog that was a service animal and harassed us about how it’s a service animal for two hours after that. They proceeded to tell me that I was 86 from the casino and that my boyfriend could go back and then they had the audacity to kick him out after he’s gone back in multiple times very unprofessional childish security staff.
First, some prefatory notes. I am usually a generous reviewer. Earnings 3-stars from me is easy; and great experiences receive 4 and 5 stars. This is about the specific experience, on a busy weekend. Things -- casinos, restaurants, hotels -- are slowly opening, fully or partially, after Covid vaccinations and declines in infections. For us, this was the first post-pandemic casino trip. And we go to many casinos, from New England to New Orleans to Mississippi to California. So, there was anticipation of a return to at least a modicum of good times. On the gaming front, with slot machines, this was a very disappointing experience. We were alerted that alternate machines will be disabled, because of social distancing. The way it was done was in very, very poor taste. It was tough to tell whether a machine was disabled, unoccupied or out or order. Here was a great opportunity to be creative -- the casino could have created pleasant or humorous signage or envelopes to prevent access to the closed machines. No such thing. One had to approach and squint hard, for small on-screen display or other (tiny) placard -- if at all available -- to figure out the status of an unoccupied machine. Cache Creek totally lacked any imagination and blew the opportunity to communicate gently or humorously or both. Also, the payouts were insulting. Sure, the House has to win. But, pre-pandemic, when a win occurred on a spin the amount was at least equal to the minimum bet; and often several times that bet. In this visit, for instance, on a machine with 88-cent minimum, the wins -- if they happened at all -- would be 7 cents or 23 cents or other such ridiculous amounts. All the 5 family members in my family group, especially the moms who had gone to celebrate, felt very disappointed and insulted. No more Cache Creek visits unless there is reform and redress of this state of affairs.
My husband and I drive up to Cache Creek sometime just to eat n not gamble at all. We love there Chinese Food, sometime we stay over night cause is kind of fall away from SF. I don't really gamble a lot just want to get away for a long outing.
We had a great time until we were kicked out at 5:45am when i had already consumed alcohol and my wife not having any sleep and was just about to sleep. We arrived at your hotel at 6:45pm, came in through the front entrance where our temperature was checked by your security who saw that we had our dog in the back seat - we were not told that it was not allowed in the property at all (At least that time we could have decided if we want to stay or bring the dog home at that time). We parked up front to check in and then my wife went back to park our car in the guest parking. Before heading back to the casino, my wife walked our dog at around 7pm in the parking and there were multiple staff who saw her and did not say anything at all and she left our dog in the car as planned, fully equipped with water and a dog bed. We had dinner, drinks and gambled (with our friends) the whole night, I went back to our room as I was tired while my wife and friend gambled more until 4:30am. She went back to our car to pick up some of our stuff and at the same time, walk our dog. On her way back to our room to sleep as it's in the wee hours of the morning already, she was stopped by the security and asked to leave as dogs are not allowed in the property - we understand that dogs are not allowed inside the hotel but didn't expect it to be for the whole property - meaning parking. This is not the first time that we take our dog when we go out of town. The security firstly didn't listen to my wife's explanation, he explained everything in a very rude and discriminative manner as if we committed a crime and was not even apologetic for the situation and timing that we were placed in - no one even cared how unsafe it is for us to drive back with no sleep and having alcohol in me. My wife even asked if she could take a nap inside the car for awhile as it will be unsafe for us to drive back at that state and the security bluntly told her no, you have to leave the premise now as if she was a criminal or something. My wife explained that she needs to pick me up inside the room as i wasn't able to pick up her calls as i was asleep already, she was told that she should leave and just drive back for me but she insisted that she cant leave me obviously and we live in the city which is an hour and half hour away. We regularly stay in casinos as my wife spends a lot of money gambling and we always adhere and respect company policies, we would have completely understood and respected this if we were informed upon arriving as clearly, we didn't even know as we openly walked the dog in the parking lot, what's unacceptable is how we were treated and asked to leave at 5:45am where i had a lot of drinks already and my wife had no sleep at all after our group spending so much money at your resort. It was unsafe for us to drive an hour and half back in that state where we could have gotten into an accident as we were forced into this. there were so many opportunities for us to be informed from when we arrived and when we first walked the dog in the parking area at around 7:15pm, instead of being forced out without sleep and being intoxicated with alcohol already. Why would any of this be ok? is it because we are just Asians or because we are a lesbian couple? We were clearly discriminated against and my wife is very traumatized with this as we were treated like criminals over a small misunderstanding that could have been prevented.
ANOTHER terrible head-on collision nearby on undivided Highway 16 Sunday; Casino should help state to reduce illegal lane changes and consequences. The casino is not consistent in COVID19 enforcement of masks and the cleaning of machines. The hand sanitizer dispensers are hit-or-miss. Their promotions create crowds and thus put casino profits over general customer safety during a pandemic. While polite, cashier cage can be slow due to customers doing credit transactions. Most cashout machines do not dispense coins. The plusses are relatively good paytables on video poker and clean restrooms, good food choices.
